Me and my wife stayed here for three nights as a mini honeymoon. The staff was really friendly and professional. We had a junior suite with a jacuzzi, the bed was really comfy and the room was really nice. Breakfast was pricy (175dkk/person), but worth every penny in quality. At least the top floor rooms were a bit hot even...

We arrived at the Hotel after a long flight and was immediately made welcome with an early check in which was much appreciated. The room was clean and spacious despite the supporting beam. Every afternoon the quests were invited to meet in the lounge for a complimentary drink and the opportunity to meet other guests. This was a great idea...

Hotel is excellent placed in the center of Copenhagen, very close to Torvehallerne, metro, shopping streets etc. Rooms are really nice and clean and staff friendly and helpfull ...but the best thing in the hotel is the Breakfast! They serve absolutely fabulous homemade granola, jams and bread! I'm totally in love with this breakfast and can't wait to come back...

Thank you so much for your review. We are delighted to learn that you liked it here with us and appreciated the breakfast buffet, which we steadily have improved in regards of making the right balance between local suppliers and our own homemade produce. And now most of the produce is also organic. All the best Marie Thyssen /Hotel Kong...

An excellent hotel, ideally placed in a central location, close to the metro, with easy access to all parts of Copenhagen, and next to a fantastic market selling fab breakfast fare, fruit, and beer of all descriptions. Friendly, helpful staff. Stayed at Kong Arthur for a long weekend trip to Copenhagen, and we certainly plan to visit this super city...

We chose this hotel because of its great strategic location. It's only 10 minute walk from the train station (really important since we carried 2 big luggages). On the way to the hotel, you can find Torvehallerne, a great marketplace to find local goods such as vegetables, fruits, flowers, crafts, food and drinks. We also read up that many people...

Thank you so much for your review. It is very informative and hence useful for others travelers. We are pleased that you mention our staff, which we know, appreciation means a lot to. We also think, we are very lucky to be situated in the very center of Copenhagen, and still in a quiet place by the Copenhagen Lakes. We...

Location is very good & its a pleasant 15 minute walk into the centre of town. Nice parks nearby and getting around is very easy. Staff from the receptionists to the housekeepers were excellent and any requests were met without issue. We had a large very nice room overlooking the courtyard, however its clear no two rooms are the same....

Arrived at the airport, metro was there after 5 stops got off and just less then ten minutes walk to the hotel. First impression in my thoughts I was please choosing this hotel....

We had a nice stay at Hotel Kong Arthur before a cruise. The location was close enough for us to walk to the sites we wanted to see. The rooms are small by American standards but they were just fine. Nice small hotel in a part of the city that is walkable to everything but not in the main tourist area, which is a good thing. I would give it a five but there was a good deal of noise from the side street bar patrons outside our room until late at night.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Hotel Kong Arthur is situated right between the beautiful inner lakes of Copenhagen and the buzzing downtown, only 15 min. from the airport by metro. The style is exclusive and modern with a hint of medieval - we call it a mix of rustic and chic. The atmosphere is cozy and informal: A lit fireplace, comfy sofas, pillows in the window sill, a stack of books on the shelves, beautiful courtyards adorned with green plants, cobbles and a unique peacefulness. ... more   less
