we unfortunately paid in advance for 2 nights but had flight problems so only got to use 1. They would not refund us the difference even though we called as soon as we found out. Oh well. There is no air conditioning as in most Scandinavian budget hotels but it was pretty warm. I think I'm glad we were only...

The hotel has a great location very close to the Central Train Station and it has great amenities, swimming and bowling and a lovely breakfast. I felt that it was quite expensive for a very small and basic room. The bathroom was small and the shower curtain stuck to you when you were showering as the cubicle was so small....

I stayed at this hotel with my girlfriend last winter. When we arrived, we asked whether they had our reservation. The staff member told us that we had a room in our name and we were directed to our room. After we had left the hotel, we noticed that we had been charged more than we actually paid when we...

Arrived at this hotel only to find out its in the middle of a fitness centre. Which is not a bad thing. Bowling is free, swimming gym and badminton. Good if traveling with children. My room was not very clean and I had to report this to the reception staff that my room was In fact very dirty. The staff did offer...

I almost gave this hotel a "4" because the rooms are too sparse, or should I say minimalist. The rooms are clean, but there is only a bed and a desk. Everything is stored in the closet. I lived mostly out of my suitcase which was easier. The front desk gets an "excellent" review as they were so nice and...

My husband and I stayed here for 1 night as a last minute booking when our flight was cancelled. The location is great within walking distance of the central train station and easy to find. The rooms were basic but stylish in a minimalistic way. You had to pay extra for tea and coffee and there was no air conditioning...

Fairly modern hotel annexed to a sports centre including main public swimming pool. Rooms are clean and have pretty much all you'd need. Not a traditional sight-seeing type hotel but ideally located and not too far from Tivoli, maybe 500-700 metres or so. If I was visiting for a holiday I'd probably prefer a more traditional type hotel but for...

The hotel staff provided wonderful service. We stayed in a wheelchair accessible room that featured hardwood flooring & a roll in shower. The location was ideal, a five minute walk to Tivoli Gardens. The breakfast was superb! It was a buffet that offered plenty of coffee & numerous varieties of tea, juices, milk, water, cereals & yogourts, great breads, cheeses,assorted...

A quite cheap hotel, very basic but they had a good breakfast and it is quite central. Only stayed one night and left after breakfast so can't say more than this. You are in walking distance to Rådhuspladsen and the shopping street, Stroget.

Great location, just few minutes from central railway station and Tivoli, room was okey-ish with small balcony, might need some renewal. Breakfast was ok, bread and some cold cuts and not so good coffee.

Staying in Inner Vesterbro

Neighbourhood Profile
Inner Vesterbro
This neighbourhood is home to Tivoli Gardens, a world famous amusement park and beautiful garden always worth a visit. Just west of Tivoli, you’ll find Copenhagen Central Station, from where you can reach just about every part of Denmark within 5 or 6 hours, or you can reach Copenhagen Airport in less than 15 minutes. Next to the Central Station, you’re in the middle of “old” Vesterbro, where several cultures and hundreds of languages are spoken in an area not more than one square mile. This neighbourhood is considered one of the most trendy places to live in and to visit in Copenhagen. For a real treat, visit Kødbyen ("meat town"), home to several restaurants, cafés and nightclubs, all within a short walk of each other.
