Love this city, have visited it many times in various hotels. If it’s all about the location, Scandic Palace is not a terrible choice.

It's a large hotel, so I couldn't say. But our room had a sort of French balcony, so there was no glass over part of the "window" onto the courtyard. Perhaps there are rooms that just have double-glazed, solid windows... More

Perhaps there are rooms that just have double-glazed, solid windows. (The bell doesn't chime all night. "Just" until midnight, which is still terrible.)
