Location was ideal for getting around the city sites and the breakfast was delicious. Staff very friendly and helpful. The bed was comfortable and the place was clean. The room wasn't very large but I still would go there again.

This is a delightful, friendly and well located hotel. The staff is welcoming. Rooms are a bit small by US standards but perfectly adequate. Bathrooms modern and well equipped. Comfortable bedding. Breakfast is a nicely done buffet, well stocked. You can probably skip the extra cost cappuccino and stick with the house coffee. Afternoon wine hour is very nice. Some...

+ modern and clean rooms + Very friendly and helpfull staff + Perfect Location - all sightseeing spots, the Central Station and Metro are in walking distance + family-friendly - The mattress of the babybed wasn't that comfortable (a litte bit too strong) - but if you like it cuddly - there is enough space for two and a baby...

The overall experience was very good. The price and location are hard to beat. The staff were universally pleasant and bent over backwards to be helpful. There are two features of the hotel that a prospective guest should be aware of (1) Helgolandsgade is a noisy street at night; there is no air conditioning and, if you have a room...

Comfortable and spacious enough for 2 pax. The hotel is located near the central station and there's loads of food options nearby. Do get the staff to recommend if you are open to suggestions. The only thing to note is that there's no airconditioning. The room is equipped with a floor fan. You'll need a bit of creativity to get...

The primary reason that I chose the Andersen Hotel was because of all the great reviews touting the location. It wasn't the cheapest option, but it also wasn't the most expensive, and I was willing to pay a bit extra for a prime location. I had never been to Copenhagen before and was only there for a couple of days,...

The facility has a wonderful, warm ambiance. The room was large, larger than expected; the afternoon guest wine bar was a delight; the service and breakfast were superb. We were delighted with everything, except our room faced the street and the evening noise was very loud. Next time we will ask for a courtyard facing room. The treats on the...

I Stayed for just one Night, but Got a really Good impression. Staff is Nice and friendly. The rooms are decorated in a chic urban style. Bathrooms Well equipped With molton and Brown soap. Breakfast has Good selektion. The option to puchase special coffee was great and not too expensive. My Room was too small to be really comfortable.

The staff at this hotel was very friendly - providing us with guidance on how to get about and enjoy this lovely and beautiful city. Language was not a problem since almost everyone speaks English. The hotel is located near the center of town and so we were close to many points of interest including the world famous Tivoli Gardens...

To be fair to this hotel we turned up as a party of around 20 on a stag do which I am sure they have seen before, so I wasn't expecting too much- and that is exactly what I got. The rooms were bearable, showers average and beds quite comfortable. The location is good, although being smack bang in the...

Staying in Inner Vesterbro

Neighbourhood Profile
Inner Vesterbro
This neighbourhood is home to Tivoli Gardens, a world famous amusement park and beautiful garden always worth a visit. Just west of Tivoli, you’ll find Copenhagen Central Station, from where you can reach just about every part of Denmark within 5 or 6 hours, or you can reach Copenhagen Airport in less than 15 minutes. Next to the Central Station, you’re in the middle of “old” Vesterbro, where several cultures and hundreds of languages are spoken in an area not more than one square mile. This neighbourhood is considered one of the most trendy places to live in and to visit in Copenhagen. For a real treat, visit Kødbyen ("meat town"), home to several restaurants, cafés and nightclubs, all within a short walk of each other.
