We stayed st this hotel for 5 nights and loved it. Great location, comfortable room and such kind and helpful staff.. we would definitely recommend this hotel to people travelling to Copenhagen! A bonus is that adjacent to the hotel is a really good tapas restaurant!

This hotel is within walking distance of the metro station, probably 500 metres away. Upon my very early arrival, I asked if it was possible to check-in, and this was no problem. The room was TINY, even for a single room. The bathroom was even smaller, with the shower literally on top of the toilet. Room was very clean though,...

Ibsens is well located near a major transportation hub (Norreport) and the Glass Market food venue, a fun place to eat. Check-in was smooth and the breakfast was great. Beds were a bit soft and the rooms small as noted. There was some street noise on Saturday night, but otherwise it was quiet. I would stay again based on location.

My wife and I spent 3 nights in Copenhagen on our way back to the US. The Ibsens hotel is a good choice, not too expensive (although breakfast is not included), centrally located but still quiet, and very closed to public transportation. I would use it again.

Arrived in Copenhagen on 2nd May for a two night stay at Ibsen's Hotel. we had a lovely welcome from Christoper Miller on reception, who was extremely helpful whenever we need help. The hotel is lucky have him working there. Very good location near Noorport Metro station. Also near the stops for the Hop on Hop off bus tour of...

If you are a walker who likes interesting hotels in the heart of the old city, the Ibsens Hotel is your go-to place in Copenhagen. We spent three days at the Ibsens and had easy, pleasant walks to anything and everything we wanted to see. (While walking, you do have to learn to watch out for bicycles, though. They are...

Thank you so much for your very nice review. We are glad to read that you enjoyed our location just as much as we do :) It is indeed great to explore the city by bike or by food. And yes the biking people can be a hazard. They are very focused on getting there. Next time you should try...

Party of 6 sailing on a Baltics Cruise from Copenhagen and stayed in Ibsens overnight. Really well situated - we took metro M2 from airport followed by 10 minute walk. Small and compact reception but very friendly and easy check in procedure. Room was again compact but perfect for an overnighter. Nice 5 o'clock experience with wine and beer tasting....

Location is very good, on a quiet road 5 minutes walk from Norreport station which is a direct ride to Airport on Metro and also has railway which gives options for travel without having to head over to the central station (Kobenhavn H). Lots of quick/good food options for breakfast, lunch and early evening meals two minutes walk away in...

Thank you so much for your review. Ibsens Hotel is part of the charming neighborhood around Nansensgade. It's laid-back and personal, and close to Nørreport Metro Station. I am sorry about my colleague at front office who was chewing gum. I totally agree, that's not completely appropriate. We will talk about it here. The bathroom's size follows the room's size....

Stayed in Copenhagen 3 nights following a transatlantic cruise. Arrived early in the morning and were fortunate that our room was ready. Very nice reception staff and no difficulties with English. Be forewarned, Danish accomodations are minimalistic. The bedroom was small, but adequate. The bathroom was incredibly small. Probably 4x4, including shower, toilet, and sink. If you are at all...

Thank you so much for your kind words. Ibsens Hotel is part of the charming neighborhood around Nansensgade. It's laid-back and personal. The bathroom's size follows the room's size. So if you book a small room, the bathroom is also quite small. Our bathrooms are of the traditional Copenhagen type - with a shower and a wet floor. Bathrooms are...
