To begin with the positives: the staff were helpful, friendly and efficient, the hotel is three minutes from the main railway station, and breakfast is in the excellent Restaurant Frascatti.
However, it is now difficult to imagine that the the Grand Hotel ever lived up...More
We chose the hotel due to the location being a few minutes walking distance to the Central Station, convenient for us coming from the airport in around 15 minutes (a single ticket cost around DKK36) and catching an early train out of the city on...More
What can I say about this place. The only positive thing about this hotel is its location which is centrally located in the heart of Copenhagen.
Unfortunately that is where it's positivity starts and finishes. The hotel is very outdated. It must have been Grand...More
Stayed here 3 nights on a city break trip. The central location to Copenhagen's main station was what sold me about this hotel - i had a late flight from the airport and wanted somewhere in walking distance. The train from the airport takes about...More

This neighbourhood is home to Tivoli Gardens, a world famous amusement park and beautiful garden always worth a visit. Just west of Tivoli, you’ll find Copenhagen Central Station, from where you can reach just about every part of Denmark within 5 or 6 hours, or you can reach Copenhagen Airport in less than 15 minutes. Next to the Central Station, you’re in the middle of “old” Vesterbro, where several cultures and
hundreds of languages are spoken in an area not more than one square mile. This neighbourhood is considered one of the most trendy places to live in and to visit in Copenhagen. For a real treat, visit Kødbyen ("meat town"), home to several restaurants, cafés and nightclubs, all within a short walk of each other.
