Stayed here last night because our plane was delayed so not our choice - this was organised by the airline. Dark red gloomy walls in the room and a window that looked out on to some concrete walls. I had ear plugs but sound still filtered through. Air conditioning was on but didn't work. Twenty of us stayed here. All... More

Stayed for three nights. Arrived late, but reception were very efficient on check-in, and were forward in offering maps and wi-fi services. Reception and lobby are well presented and clean. However rooms are slightly dated in terms of decor, and wear and tear is visible on furniture, but clean. Rooms on the front of the hotel have fantastic views over... More

Me and my husband stayed 2 nights in December 2011 at Park. Room was nice but need to be renovated. Breakfast and staff were fine, but nobody to take our suitcase. Position of the hotel is just perfect!!

Stayed in the hotel just 1 short night, before getting onto a ferry to Skopelos(wonderful). The hotel was an absolute DUMP, flithy, stinky and run-down. The whole place was without AC and seemed like the most natural thing to the hotel staff. Upon entering the hotel at 12 midnight we were not greeted by a doorman or any other staff,... More

I often use this hotel, for my stay, when I visit the city of Volos, for business purposes. Unfortunately all these years there had been no substantial effort to upgrade and improve the offered facilities and services. The picture and the facilities of this hotel refers to one of the 1980. The comments of the members of the community of... More

Charmless yet convenient hotel in Volos, if you get a sea view room, as balconeys are quite big. Otherwise, it is a basic 3 star hotel (pretending 4) which would need some serious investiment, especially as far as the common premises are concerned. BF was below average for a hotel of that category. Good point: you may park quite easily... More

The Park Hotel has a lot going for it, but more than anything its location in the city centre, near the sea and habor, and a short walk from the University. There are, of course, problems, and few other countries in Europe would rate it four stars, which is its advertised rating. Rooms are small, bathrooms cramped. In our room... More

I frequent five star hotels, so you might think I would have found this little place intolerable on every level, but not so. I requested a high floor and a room with a full sea view, so this is what I received. My room had a lovely balcony, which was great for sipping a glass of restina or ouzo with... More

Its very expensive. The rooms are poor for a four star hotel. I couldn't find an electricity supply to recharge my mobile phone. The location is good, next to the center of Volos. The fact that the hotel is located opposite a park makes it peaceful and keeps it away from the traffic. They

No. It's not great, but it's well-located and the staff is very accomodating. I've stayed there several times and even if the bar or restaurant is closed, they will bring you drinks or food (that their night staff can make, they ask you what you want, hilarious) 24 h a day. Not great accomodations and even with their sound-proof doors,... More
