We really enjoyed four nights at Miranda. We got a good price because of season and had the place to ourselves for two days. We had a suite of two rooms plus bathroom on the ground floor - nice old furniture, fridge and televisions. Bathroom is small but beds comfortable with shuttered windows. The breakfast was fresh, if a little...

Lovely historical hotel. Excellent location! The room was relatively basic but traditional Greek. The breakfast is a bit poor but all fresh! Very helpful staff both at Reception and in the breakfast area. Happy to assist in any way they could.

On arrival, they tried to palm us off with a double bedroom even though I had emailed twice to ensure that it was a twin room for our stay. They did change it to a vast family room which was a beautiful old room. However, if the hotel was full, a shrug off seems inevitable. The house itself is refurbished...

Small warning – this hotel was very hard to find and it was virtually impossible to get directions off our cellphone and from calling the hotel. I highly recommend using the mules to take you to the hotel. The hotel itself is in a great location and in a quiet section above the port area. However, once you find it,...

I absolutely loved everything about Hydra, but the Hotel Miranda helped take the experience to another level with it's very traditional way of keeping things uncomplicated. The rooms were relatively basic but if your holiday experience is about wanting something that is as close to a Greek way of life then why look for anything different. Hot showers, comfortable beds,...

We spent 6 nights at hotel in May. Take right after getting offFlying Dolphin and then by burrows to right to next to last street on left Hotel Sofia on corner. Turn up street and about 5 minutes up on right past Lulus Restaurant. Greeted warmly and had balcony room overlooking bay. Owner and her staff very helpful and gracious....

My family of four (2 kids ages 10 and 12) spent the weekend in Hydra at the Miranda Hotel. First off, google maps does not have this property located properly as we walked for 30 minutes searching and asking for directions. The property is an older home converted. We booked the family suite which was unfortunately right off of the...

We spent a couple of evenings here recently. It's a short walk from the harbor so it lacks a view, but the quiet was appreciated. Rooms are simple and not large, but the bathroom was fine and the included breakfast in the garden was peaceful and wonderful. The small staff were friendly and helpful from start to finish. Well worth...

When we arrived there was a problem with allocating us the room we requested as the hotel was almost full. However, a solution was found and we were upgraded. The location of this hotel is excellent. It is in an historic building which is beautiful. Miranda, the owner was there when we stayed and she is a wonderful lady who...

We were there for only one night, in mid September and overall impression was great. Our room was beautiful, with a huge fantastic balcony with great view. The location is perfect, being a short walk from the harbour but still very quiet. Recommended.
