We made a booking for six nights through booking.com. After flying to Athens and getting the seven hour boat journey, we arrived and the hotel was closed. We were lucky as it was early season and the taxi driver found us suitable accommodation in Armenistis. We have been in contact with booking.com, who had not been informed by the hotel...

I stayed with my wife in September for a friend's wedding and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We had a room at the very top, with beautifiul views of the beach and surrounding areas. The rooms are excellent - clean, very spacious (ours had a double bed and a seperate single bed). Bathrooms are clean, but a little on the...

We really can't praise this hotel more - beautiful location, great beach right there, lovely good sized pool, rustically charming well-priced rooms with amazing views, and very friendly and helpful staff (who made my wife and I and our three children incredibly, genuinely welcome - with warmth and individual interest that was never over-bearing). I'm surprised some reviews have criticised...

Our room had the amazing view of Massakti beach. It's really quiet and loved the scenic view at night! Breakfast was the worst I've ever had! Very basic and poor quality when you pay at least 70euros for the basic room! They offer only filter coffee and you pay at least 3euros extra for any other coffee, including Frape! No...

Very nice, spacious and comfortable rooms with a splendid view to the turquoise sea. The managers and the workers were very kindly and friendly and give us a lot of information about authentic greek events that we could enjoy. Its possible to rent a car from the hotel with a very good price. Also, Messikti is in a very strategic...

“If you have difficulty walking up stairs etc, request a villa close to the main building. But definitely opt for a villa higher up for the excellent views - both at sunrise and sunset.”

“I think the best rooms were the ones facing the sea, by the reception, rather than the by the pool - as you got a cooling breeze (ie number 13 - which was a two storey maisonette for a very good price).”

“Ask for a superior room at the price of the standard (they give it when you book for many days), away from the pool because there are children playing there. Ask for a room with a nice veranda”

“Higher rooms have a very nice sea and mountain view. Rooms near the swimming pool are most familiars, with a spacious stone and flowered garden.”
