I was surprised by the incredible view. Just above the bay and it had everything I needed. The staff was very good and my whole experience was unforgettable. I am willing to visit it again and promote it to all my friends!

We attended the annual European Shotokan Karate Association's Championships which were held this year in Chalkida, Greece and we stayed at the Paliria for four nights. The room was large and well furnished, very comfortable with eveything we needed. The hotel staff at Reception and in the bar were excellent and very switched on to providing excellent service and assistance....

I don't get the sense that innkeeping in greece is quite up to US standards. Everything to seems to be a some what slipshod affair. With that said this hotel has done a nice job to accommodate our large party's needs and requests best they can. Breakfast is above average. The view from the harbor side is very nice and...

Everything was perfect in my accomodation. The room was clean with an excellent view. Delicious breakfast. In the center of Chalkida, close to everything. The staff was kind and friendly. It is a very good option.

The room was clean, quite classy, but also very dated. The bathroom was also very nice, always was kept clean by the staff. The reception area was very nice, with ample room to sit in. Reception staff very helpful. Breakfast was the same every day, and consisted of mostly sausages, bacon, egg, and breads, also with cheese and ham slices,...

This is a good hotel in the center of Chalcis. We mostly enjoyed the wonderful view from our balcony. The room was also good and light. The beds ok. The breakfast was not worth to pay extra for. Better to go outside the hotelarea and buy breakfast. Many restaurants close (both with more exclusive food and "fast food".

What a pleasant surprise this was. Room was very good and clean, the view from our room overlooking the bay was stunning. Friendly staff. It was for one night only but recommending. The attached pictures taken from the balcony.

Good basic hotel with good bar and food available. Right on the harbour front with fantastic balcony views across the harbour. Great value for money even though a little dated rooms. Breakfast typical Greek with limited availability

I stayed at this hotel for two nights during a heat wave. I had already moved out of John's hotel because it was substandard, and had checked out Lucy's Hotel, which wasn't much better. I got a quite nice room at the Paliria for 50 euros on the fifth floor facing the street, which is fine because it is a...
