I visited Rethymnon for a lecture in late March 2016. The University had already booked the hotel but judging from the reviews, I expected a nice stay. Indeed, the hotel lived up to the positive reviews. The receptionists were very friendly and gave us (I was travelling with my mother) a room on the second floor. Despite having no view,...

The hotel is typical city hotel, with very pleasant staff, delicious food and great location. The advantage of the hotel is that it is opened during the all the year around, not only in summer months. Service is excellent and cleanness is on the high level. Things which did not impress us were the size of the room and bathroom...

This is a Hotel which is in dire need of repairs, rehab and a thorough cleaning! There were exposed wires, badly designed lighting, flooring which was lifting, not enough hot water........the list goes on! However, add to that the fact that it was filthy! There is no excuse for that! Mirrors not clean, hallways dimly lit and not mopped properly....

I' ve spent 1 week in Jo An Palace Hotel, in the middle of May 2015. It was a perfect stay. The hotel has very nice and professional stuff, spacious and clean rooms, very varied and tasty food and a terrace with swimming pool above the hotel, where you can enjoy the best old city view.
