We went with friends who live locally and like their food, so we weren't disappointed. It was busy but we had booked a table and the bar was pretty busy as everyone had come in to escape the heavy rainstorm. Five of us had an extremely good pub lunch, simple but very tasty and good-sized helpings. I made the most...

Be prepared on a busy evening for there to be a wait between courses but it is worth it. There is a very good friendly atmosphere in the pub. The food choice is good as is the result of one's choice. Excellent tasty food. Service is very friendly. The kitchen catered for my food intolerances with reasonable ease. We were...

We went on a Tuesday evening for our anniversary to find that Tuesday is Steak Night (two steaks for £16). We had booked a table but many others just turned up and the consequence was that the kitchen and staff were rather overwhelmed. Nevertheless we had a good meal and the staff were very friendly. The quail starter and Stone...

We stayed at the Lamb on a Saturday night. We booked only that afternoon and received a friendly welcome. The room we had was spacious, comfortable and clean. The bathroom was excellent. We ate a very good dinner in the bar which is very cosy. The breakfast the next morning was excellent. Unfortunately the pub has no car park. But...

Staying with friends for the weekend, they booked the Lamb Inn for a saturday night meal. Its a true locals establishment where they don't lay the tables, which in the little room were pushed together to make awkward sizes. The food was pretty good although the menu limited.Having said that, my wife ordered a med-well steak and received a med-rare sinewy steak....

A pleasant welcome began our stay. We had a spacious bedroom, clean and well equipped. Enjoyed our evening meal and excellent breakfast. The only downside was there was no parking, but we could unload outside and park the car at the Village Hall.

Travelling with friends we decided to stay out of busy Exeter in hopefully a typical English pub, and decided upon the Lamb Inn. On arrival we four were a little dismayed as we found the parking situation just horrible. However pretty soon Mark popped out, guided us to a nearby parking spot and lugged all our luggage upstairs - travelling...

Wonderful place to relax and have a leisurely lunch or special anniversary celebration! Staff are always very friendly and food outstanding!! Would recommend to all friends and family. Lovely walks around the area too, we walk the little off the road pathway from Crediton each time - can be there in a good half an hour! Perfect for a Sunday...

I took my Mother in Law to the Lamb for her birthday and the food was spectacular! The pub itself is over 500 years old so has bags of character that has only been enhanced over the years so it has not lost any of it's charm. Service was very friendly but the main reason we went was we had...
