Good service, great company and excellent food, yum yum! Lovely relaxed atmosphere. Well worth a look and eat. My frien and I had the ciabatta with the roast of the day, pork. Delicious! Husbands had the rump steak, all very good.

The Lamb is absolutely everything I want from a country get-away; beautiful old building, quiet rural location, a bar that does several good real ales and simply stunning food! The evening meal was exceptional and the English breakfast also got top marks! The room was very comfortable with some excellent features, such as the wonderful bath in the very spacious...

Lovely, well-appointed bedrooms with very comfy beds although bathrooms were a bit small! Breakfasts were excellent, well cooked with good choices. Dinner was tasty although my main of venison could have been hotter and all the dishes were a bit "over engineered" for my taste, but our guests seemed to love them and the place was very popular on a...

We booked as a last minute overnight stay. We were in the Garden suite, a lovely welcome and the great service and rapport continued throughout our stay. The pub is traditional, the room clean, stylish but cosy too. Nice crisp bed linen and good quality pillows. The breakfast was fabulous, well cooked local produce. We would definitely stay again, the...

Enjoyed a delightful lunch this afternoon. Great food, I choose the bacon, chicken and avocardo salad, good wine and the chocolate fondant oozed! All served with lovely smiles and will definitely be returning.

We stay fairly regularly at the Lamb, and we do so because the rooms are comfy, and the food excellent. Even the parking isn't as bad as some people make out, we have always found somewhere within a couple of hundred yards. The rooms are really comfortable with superb beds and excellent sheets and pillows, and we have always had...

Found via Alistair Sawdays we booked last minute a night away. The food was delicious as per all the reviews we read. The location charming. The last room available was very small but adequate and in fairness we were told this and this was reflected in the price. If I had to mention a few very small criticisms it would...
