A simple phrase written on the hotel’s card says it all for me: ‘ You come as a guest and you leave as a family’ which couldn’t be more true! My son and I wanted to so much to leave our sweet home and the corona madness behind and I can say that we found the sanctuary and unexpected oasis of peace midst a town I wouldn’t have chosen to stay at before just because I usually prefer mountains and beaches or a combination of two. This place is exceptional in every sense. It all started for us during our many emails back and forth as our travel plans kept changing due to the new regulations. Maria, the wonderful person she is attended to our requests ( as I am traveling with my son who’s a wheelchair user) with utmost respect and attentiveness and who also continued to serve us in every need or little as it might be thereafter. It’s of tips and great conversations over breakfast:)thank you Maria Firstly, We were picked up by a private taxi, dropped off at the hotel which was very close to the airport. We were were met and accompanied to our suites by Xaris, another graceful soul who welcomed up with open arms and who turned out to be a magician :), who mesmerized my son Zak with his incredible tricks throughout our entire stay of 16 days!! We stayed in 2 attached suites and had our own private pool which we used almost daily despite the cold water. The cleaning staff are attentive to every detail in the room. We had breakfast at the restaurant every morning, great variety at the buffet. We also had half board, lunch mainly which we had initially in our private space. Food was packaged ( due to corona hygiene and safety restrictions) though freshly made and served warm by an amazing cook. after few days, we started having lunch at the restaurant. We personally prefer traditional dishes and I can say we were not disappointed at ALL! Quite the contrary!! Since I mostly prefer eating vegetarian meals, and lots of the the dishes on the menu had meat, I was amazed that same dishes were extra prepared—meat-free just for us without a problem. Lastly but not least, the hotel manager Savas met us almost every morning with a sincere smile and Kalimera and made sure we didn’t lack anything we needed. The hotel staff were exceptionally polite, helpful and provided a 100% high quality service which we delighted ourselves in. Another person I need to thank for her sense of humor and service is Elena who we often worked on weekends. Her tips, her cheerful personality made us feel home. I thank you all for making feel home and I’m definitely coming back and sending most of my friends over!!!…
It was amazing. -clean and modern room -great food -beautiful pool - 3 min. walking distance to the large sand beach, with beach bars. - 1 min. walking distance to the bus stations. We would definitely come again.
I recommend choosing Petousis hotel, because its very nice and clean, the same goes for the rooms. The staff (employers) are friendly, nice and helpful. If you have a question just ask them. The hotel has beautiful tidy surroundings with two beautiful pools and bar. Next to the hotel is a restaurant. There are also other shops and souvenir shops around the hotel. The beach is about 100 m walk from hotel called Heaven beach.
All the staff were the most amazing people and fully understood our situation due to the QR code. Beautiful modern hotel I will recommend to all my friends and family. Everyone was so helpful and also helped booked our excursions which were once in a life time. Me and my partner are literally booking our trip back for next year!!!
