Located on the city centre, we got 15 €/night rate in this clean, very comfortable hotel. The only drawback was that the shower didn't get to a high pressure and though it was difficult to shower. Other than that I would say it was quite a good place.

Stayed room with 3 beads. We can enjoy hot shower(but control of temperature was difficult), TV, air conditioner and simple, clean room. Hotel Lena was in back alley near main streat of Heraklion. It was a little scary place for girls at nitght, but very good place to walk around Heraklion. Reception staff was also kind and nice people.

I'm a solo backpacker and didn't expect the hostel to be so nice. I got here in January at 7pm one night and easily got one single room for 30€. I chose this hostel just because it's located near the town centre and 5 minutes away from the shore. To my amazement, my room was extremely clean and colorful, in...

Hotel Lena is a nice little hotel not too far from the airport and within walking distance of the National Archaeological Museum. The rooms are basic, but surprisingly spacious, although the beds are rather hard. Breakfast was lovely, with fresh cakes, boiled eggs, hot drinks, etc. all made on demand. For a night or two in Heraklion, this was exactly...

There are only positives to say about Hotel Lena. Situated in a quiet street within metres of 25 August Street and the hub of Heraklion, it is ideally located and a good base for a few days stay in this part of Crete. Rooms were spacious, clean, airy and the place had the feel of a small, but well run...

Nice and helpful staff. I had a ground floor room that was non-ensuite - reflected in the tarriff. The batthroom was on the same floor. Felt like quite a traditional greek style hotel. I'd describe it as being quite simple but adequete and pleasant. Mugs, glass inte room, local station TV. There is wifi that worked well and at no...

Stayed here one night because my flight arrived late. Very friendly helpful staff. The room was spotless, but the water pressure in the (tiny) showers is pitiful and just dribbles out of the handheld showers. Apparently this is a known situation in the hotel, but the management hasn't done anything to improve it. If you are not too fussed about...

Usually when I have an early flight out of Heraklion I stay at the Sofia Hotel. At just one km from the airport, that's a pretty comfortable place to stay. But then there are times, when the spring sun is shining and you have all the time in the world travelling from the south east of Crete to the capital,...
