This was hotel our travel agency recommended for us for our Heraklion stay. The location close to both the main pedestrian precinct and the port was ideal and all within a 5-10 minute walk. There is a roof top restaurant on site (weather permitting) and highly recommended too. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Although the room was a little...

Spent 3 very enjoyable days with family in this hotel. Great location (5 min on foot to Archeological Museum) and valet parking for free, which is very helpful in Iraklion. View of port and fortress from restaurant in fourth floor. Our room had air conditioning and a fast WiFi connection. Very friendly staff and amazing breakfast buffet, which was included....

Hotel is conveniently located near the ferry. Good if you have just arrived or leaving via ferry for other parts of Greece. Have high expectations after reading the reviews and seen the pictures, so was a little disappointed with the state of the room. Stayed in the new annex which you will need to exit the main building and drag...

Really friendly welcome from the attentive staff in reception. Then shortly after arrival we had lunch in the Herbs Garden Restaurant, which has fabulous views of the Venetian Castle and the surrounding seascape, all three of us were delighted with our choices, we all had different two course meals from a good and varied menu N.B. We had Starters and...

We stayed in the best room of the hotel, the room was nice but noisy...a restaurant overhead with chairs being move caused some unnecessary noise, planes were flying by creating additional noise and the street noise reflected no soundproofing Windows. Additionally the elevator was right outside the door. The staff was very good as was the location. Breakfast was good...

I stayed with family last month for 3 nights. We booked a normal 3 beds room for the first night and the other two their 'junior' suite. First room was very tight but we were expecting that. Unfortunately the suite wasn't much better. The sea view we booked it for was very limited with many buildings on the way. But...

Dear Jimmy D, Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us. Your review is a valuable contribution to our continuous efforts for excellence. The outstanding taste in our breakfast buffet stems from traditional Cretan recipes using fresh seasonal fruits, vegetables as well as gluten free ingredients. We are also grateful, sir, for acknowledging our colleagues efforts....

I visit Crete often and always choose Lato. I enjoy the location near the Venetian Harbor and Lion Fountain. It is easy walk to the museums, banks, restaurants, shops and bus station. I bring my study tour groups to Crete, and often use Lato as "home base." The entire staff are courteous, professional and kind. The food is excellent. I...

We had a nice overnight stay at the Lato. Room is very clean and comfortable and the rooftop restaurant has an amazing view of the port. Valet parking is free and fast service and front office staff are great!

I flew into Heraklion, took the bus to the old city center, and walked to the hotel using their directions. It was easy to find and has a very clean and modern lobby. The staff was very friendly and professional during check-in. Unfortunately, my room was across the street in the annex. However, I was one floor up and you...

I stayed with my children for three nights. I booked this hotel because it looks great in the photos with panoramic view and luxurious facilities. However, in reality our suite was very small, without any decoration and without panoramic view! The staff was very helpful and the breakfast had many options. The roof bar has great view. It's not definitely...
