Great location. Clean Room. Owner went out of his way to make sure we were settled in when our travels plans changed slightly. Close to everything you would want to walk to in Chania. Great value for the price.

This was an emergency booking that I had to make when I learned that my inbound flight to Crete would be delayed and would prevent me from completing my onward journey. It's an apartment hotel, so no breakfast - but I knew that. The rooms are basic but adequate, in an old building in Chania Old Town. The proprietor was...

Had such a great time in Chania and this hotel was part of the reason why! Perfectly located, great price, and Stavros was the most helpful host ever! He sat with us when we got there and helped planned our entire three days there. Definitely recommend to anyone!

I had been to Chania on two previous trips and always stayed at budget "rooms rent" hotels in the old town area. I just like character places. It has been quite a few years and I have aged so this time I thought I would stay at just a bit nicer place and I couldn't have picked a better place...

Our host Stavros was wonderful. Very friendly, attentive. Nice advices on the city (restaurants), on the region of Hania (''secret'' beaches not in the guides, worth visits and hikes...) and on Crete (which places to visit after Hania...). As we wanted to sleep one more night in the city, he found us another hostel really close. Hostel in the center...

Lovely, quant hotel. Stavros is extremely helpful and welcoming, he made our stay in Crete much easier and better. The hotel is located in old chania, a great location and very beautiful. We stayed on the main floor in room 1, this room is beside the street and can be a bit loud if you're a light sleeper, however this...

Stayed at Casa Veneta for one night. The owner/concierge took great care to ensure a wonderful stay. From the moment we. He led in until departure Starvos made sure we experienced the best of Chiana. The Cheese Pie breakfast he steered us to was great! Thank you Starvos!!

People are not suppose to exist like Stavros when you're so many miles from home, but he is for real. My wife and I were stumbling along trying to drop our car off and find Casa Veneta. A gentleman stepped up and offered to help and carry bags. I parked the car and came back to tip him for his...

Such a wonderful and friend place to stay at! I would highly recommend it ! Stavros was so welcoming to my friend and I when we checked-in. He was actually surprised that we were only there for the day and was leaving the next morning . He made sure to tell us where the best places to get breakfast and...

Stavous, the gentleman that runs Casa Veneta, was absolutely fantastic. When we arrived, late at night, he was still awake and outside awaiting us. He helped us with parking, carrying luggage, and sat down with us for a half an hour to explain everything (offered orange juice in the meantime); the region, sightseeing, local culture, restaurants, bars & nightlife, beaches...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Tucked away in a narrow side street in the old quarter of Chania, Casa Veneta has plenty of olde worlde charm. It is a new, four storey building which we have sympathetically reconstructed from an old Venetian facade. For your convenience we have a television lounge on the ground floor. We have kept the atmosphere of the Grand Venetian period by using stripped polished wood for our interiors, and giving some studios a gallery bedroom.A friendly, most charming base in an excellent location from which to explore this historic and atmospheric town. ... more   less
