Casa Veneta focal point is definitely hospitality: very courteous and friendly staff, always available for any need. The central location allows you to visit the city and access to restaurants and locals directly by foot, in a while. Clean room and a good quality / price ratio.

We stayed at the hotel 3 nights in middle October in a room/apartment that was up 3 flights of stairs. The room had a nice balcony overlooking a street with cafes close enough to the sea to watch waves breaking down the block on a stormy day. We drove into Hania using Stavros' directions and parked on the street near...

Quirky hotel with a very central location right in the heart of the old town. The owner (Stavros) was most helpful with guidance on where to visit and personal recommendations. Plenty of excellent places to eat nearby with public parking at the end of the street.

The hosts Stavros and his son where absolutely amazing. We where delayed by an hour and they even called us to make sure we were ok and nothing happened to us. Once we arrived they gave us recommendations of what we could do, where to eat, beached, etc... Room very clean and it has a super nice balcony which is...

We can not thank the owner, Stavros, enough for his daily recommendations of what to see and where to eat. He truly made our trip just the best! We followed his advice daily and visited places we would not otherwise have considered. He was spot on with even the timing (best time of day) of our daily adventures. As Stavros...

An elegant hotel in a quiet and pretty street with easy access to restaurants, shops, beach and bus station. The appartment is simple, comfortable and clean and from its balcony you have views of the sea, street and mountains. What set it apart was the welcome given by the host, Stavros, who advised us on where to eat and visit...

Casa Veneta has consistently good reviews for a reason. Reasonably priced, excellent location right on the edge of the old town, so is accessible as well as quite and close to everything. The facilities are well thought out and maintained. Excellent wifi in the room, which has become important to us. Stavros makes a real effort to assist in any...

Stavros is an excellent host. He is very personable and takes time to direct you and help you with your plans. I spent 4 nights in the studio and was able to walk everywhere in Chania as well as take the bus to/from the airport and ports easily. The studio was spacious, clean, with all the necessities. I will definitely...

I really loved this place. It is in the perfect position in the old town, everything within walking distance. Even the bus station is only a 10 minute walk away. The thing that really impressed me was Stavros, the owner. From the moment I walked through the door, his wonderful charm and hospitality was probably the main memorable impression that...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Tucked away in a narrow side street in the old quarter of Chania, Casa Veneta has plenty of olde worlde charm. It is a new, four storey building which we have sympathetically reconstructed from an old Venetian facade. For your convenience we have a television lounge on the ground floor. We have kept the atmosphere of the Grand Venetian period by using stripped polished wood for our interiors, and giving some studios a gallery bedroom.A friendly, most charming base in an excellent location from which to explore this historic and atmospheric town. ... more   less
