The Doge Hotel in the Old Town of Chania was a delight to find for our honeymoon. Very bohemian, charming and authentic. The staff were fantastic, always happy to help. Breakfast (included in room price) was great and varied. The rooms were lovely, we moved from a room at the back to a street side room so we could have...

An incredibly charming hotel smack in the middle of the renowned Old Port Section of Chania, just a moments walk from the Bay. Step outside the entrance into the narrow, winding cobblestone streets filled with shops, art, restaurants, cafes, museums and very friendly, welcoming, safe and vibrant community. A perfect location! A short walk to the hotel entrance is required...

I recently traveled from the US to Chania Greece to attend a wedding for a close friend. The hotel had been booked months ahead of time. Upon our arrival, we were appalled to find that you could not drive to the entrance of the hotel. The room that we were assigned was about 2 blocks from the main hotel. Who...

My husband and I stayed at Doge Hotel for 2 nights. The hotel is centrally located. It is easy walking distance to most places in town and the harbor. The street does get quieter at night though so sleeping was not a problem. The room was clean and nice size. The bed was a bit hard, but we found that...

Great location in the center of the old town. Beautifully appointed, spacious room with a kitchenette and lovely, big bed with a canopy. The staff is nice and helpful. We has to leave early one morning, so they packed a nice breakfast for us the night before. With a cute boutique and restaurant downstairs, this is a lovely place to stay.

Amazing rooms with Venetian decoration, hidden in a beautiful stone street, close to everything in old and new Hania. Very good breakfast. Friendly owners, good value. Will be coming back for sure! Free parking can be found close by, you may have to search a little more sometimes, not a big deal for living in the heart of the magnificent...
