I must admit to reading all of the praise and being just a little bit cynical, but IT REALLY IS THAT WONDERFUL! Where else in the world could you call a hotel when you are a little swirly after a long international flight and have someone like Maria walk out to find you at the Old Harbor Walls?! Once inside...

What can you say about this gem? An entrance romanticly hidden and tucked away down back streets yet a view that makes you feel like royalty. Wake up to ancient bulidings and bobbing boats in this stuning port. Lovely restored rooms that feel Venetian and luxurious with a host of details. But the best thing about this place is Antonia....

It is actually really difficult to try an write a meaningful review of somewhere which has already been reviewed extensively and so positively, so in many ways this is more of a confirmation that the reviews you read really do reflect the place. Having said that it is important to say that from our point of view despite the overwhelmingly...

We spent three days in this small hotel in the best location and with wonderful views of the old harbour. One of the rooms had a balcony and the other one a terrace in front of the harbour. Antonia was very kind with us from the very begining and each morning offering the breakfasts. We have been like "at home"...

This is the third time we have stayed at Casa Leone and every year the service that is provided by Antonia, Maria, Nikos and Anna is just perfect. Nothing is ever too much trouble and you are given a home from home welcome throughout your stay. Within minutes of arriving we were sat on the small outside terrace drinking Frappe...

The hotel is right on the lovely Chania harbour. The bedrooms are individual and pleasing to the eye. The only slight problem may be that noise from the bars below which can be heard in the front rooms but they are the ones with the view. We didn't find it a problem. I would personally do away with the roofed...

Anna met my daughter and me at the entrance to the hotel after two horrible days of dealing with cancelled airline flights. She immediately made us feel welcome and made our travel woes dissappear. The complimentary bottles of wine and snacks took the edge off our two hour cab ride from Heraklion This small hotel in the heart of Chania...

I read the reviews and spent about 2 or 3 weeks trying to make a decision on where to stay for our trip to Chania. I found myself coming back to the review for Casa Leone. I finally made booked and worried if I had made the right decision. Boy did I ever. Maria and Antonia were the best -...

My husband and I spent 5 wonderful nights in the honeymoon suite. This boutique hotel more then exceeded our expectations! The first night we arrived SOOOO late, I was concerned that there wouldn't be anyone there because we didn't get into Chania until 1am, but the owner and his wife were waiting for us and even brought our bags from...
