If you are spending time in chania this hotel is recommended. Mainly because of the lady who work there is amazing. Super friendly and caring. Location is good, near the sea, next to many pubs and restaurants. Love the room, very clean and seriously have nothing to complaint about. Price is reasonable, bed is huge. Will definitely choose Ontas if...

We had a great time in Chania and Crete. Ontas traditional hotel was a very pretty traditional building in the old town. It was between the more local and the touristy area of the old town. Very nice location. The facilities were great and Mrs Afrodite very helpful with details and recommendations. We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone...

Visiting Chania was like a dream... you can't get enough from the city... the old port.. the lighthouse... the museums .... the restaurant... the food.... If you're looking for a small, tidy, clean hotel, close to the old port and to all the restaurants/cafe, this is the right choice for you! The rooms are nice and comfortable, with air conditioning, wi-fi, fridge, hair dryer etc. My room had a balcony too. The hotel offers you a common kitchen with everything you may need to prepare...

its close to the old venetian harbour, yet you cant see the sea, its location has its pros and cos..close distance from restaurants on the port but it gets really loud in the evenings. there is no elevator so be prepare to walk some stairs. there isnt a 24 in person receptionist. if you sit on the ground floor veranda...

This is a wonderful little place out of the way but also close enough to town to walk everywhere. It is clean and beds are very comfy. I highly recommend this little slice of heaven. The woman at the reception was so helpful and kind. Always with a smile.

Me and my friends stayed here for 4 nights and we loved it! The hotel is near the old harbor of Chania and very close to restaurants and bars! The room was clean and comfortable, plus you have free wi-fi!!! Special thanks to Aphrodite for her help and kindness!!! We would definitely stay here next time in Chania!!!

Just far enough out of the hubbub, but very close to restaurants and the Venetinan Port walk and many historical sights, we found this hotel, homey and comfortable.
