Casa Delfino is a boutique hotel, housed in a 17th century Venetian mansion which used to be the private home of the family Delfino. Remaining in the same family for six generations now, hospitality and authentic charm are an important part of our heritage. Paying homage to the history of the building, all the areas have been sensitively restored to its original splendor. The appearance of this historic structure transports guests to a rare place of refined elegance, where impeccable service, distinctive style and uncommon luxuries rule the day. With just 24 guestrooms and suites, decorated with a mix of modern and classical décor and furnishings; each room has its own individual character and style. All rooms seamlessly weave architectural heritage with contemporary design. From tailor-made itineraries to unexpected treats at turndown, we love to spoil our guests. Casa Delfino’s pebbled courtyard is a romantic oasis where guests can read, relax, or simply soak up the serene ambience. But step outside this enchanted setting and you can stroll to all the main attractions, museums, restaurants, chic shops, and lively bars. The hotel is located in the heart of the walled Old Venetian Town – yet a world apart. Simplicity, tranquility and time. These elements are so often missing in our frenetic modern lives. Wouldn’t a little luxurious down-time at the Spa be sheer perfection? Pampering and sheer indulgence…every moment of it catered to your every need. And when the sun goes down enjoy a drink at the spectacular roof terrace. With its sensational views over the harbor and the sea, there’s no better place to be at sunset.

I've been dreaming about this small boutique hotel since I was student at the University in Chania. I booked a room for 2 days on September 2020. I arrived very early (6 hours before check-in time) and went to drink a coffee at the hotel. When they found out that I booked a room, they gave me the room for free from early morning. The hotel is amazing, like a fairy tale. The staff is the best. Courteous and efficient, but most of all they will exceed your expectations because they are smart and more friendly than you can imagine. Although it was during the Covid-19 pandemic, they were almost full and they were implementing all safety protocols.

My husband and my self stayed in this beautiful hotel for 5 days in July 2020. The staff was absolutely helpful, polite and kind. We had early check in and they provided us coffee and cookies while getting our room ready. Our room was clean and sanitized. There were a bottle of sanitizer at our door and we could take mask from lobby. The location was in the middle of everything and we enjoyed every second in this hotel. For breakfast we had to call the reception in advance. A lady in the reception was so nice and she was suggesting more options for our breakfast. Also for early morning take out morning the box was full enough. I would recommend this hotel while staying in Chania. I wish I will go back and live there for ever ⭐️😁

We booked this last minute for our final night in Crete after a bad experience with our Airbnb villa and it really ended our trip on a good note. The hotel is in a lovely old mansion right in the middle of the old town and near the old port but on a quiet side street so despite the many nearby restaurants, shops and bars you get a good night's sleep. We felt pampered even in the standard room we booked which was very clean, nicely decorated and had a very comfortable bed, good towels and a great shower and had separate bedroom and living room levels. The receptionist was very friendly and helpful and service generally was great. They have a fairly extensive breakfast menu which you can have in your room though nicer to take in the lovely mosaic courtyard. If you have a car you can park it for free around nearby Talos Square (about 250m away) but they will help you with your luggage if you need it. If you are coming to Chania this is a great place to stay in the old town.

We spent 3 fantastic nights after arriving to Chania. My partner and I live on different continents and during COVID we couldn't see each other for half a year. This was the first time when could meet and it couldn't have been a better experience. Upon arrival, we were greeted with warmth and friendliness, the room itself was spacious with a great view to the courtyard. The breakfast was fantastic. The location of the hotel is perfect, we could easily walk everywhere from the heart of the old town. Everything was great but what really made it stand out was the exceptional service of the staff. They really took the extra mile. Hopefully we will stay with you again soon. Thank you for making this important trip even more special for us. The Canadian-Hungarian couple
