I had a prepaid, non-refundable reservation made for this Summer at Porto Antico Hotel. Even though my reservation type clearly states there is no responsibility on behalf of the hotel for my inability to utilize my reservation, they have done the exact opposite. Hotel management granted me a credit which could be used up through calendar year 2022. The speed and sincerity in which they made this offer is truly impressive. I will definitely make another reservation at Porto Antico in the future. The warmth and ethical responsibility they showed is very welcoming.

I stayed here for seven days December, 2019 and could not have picked a better spot! The location is perfect; I had a room with a balcony and view of the harbor and lighthouse. The staff is wonderful and offered help in every way they could, including housekeeping which was excellent. The room is comfortable and clean, and I will stay there again on my many returns to Chania!

What an amazing location!!! You do get dropped off a short walk from the hotel as it is in the historic district and they don't let cars in at certain hours plus the actual hotel is only accessible by an alleyway. Our room was on the top level overlooking the beautiful harbor and we stayed here 4 nights as part of our honeymoon and it was just beautiful, we will definitely be back to this hotel. As a welcome there is a small carafe of raki infused with honey (which is really nice) that is refilled as needed and the rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. Nicos who was on reception was great, incredibly friendly and helpful with recommending restaurants etc, reception is not manned 24hrs so you need to use your key to get back in. We didnt have breakfast at the hotel as as soon as you walked out of the hotel there were just so many to choose from. HIGHLY recommend this great hotel when you visit Chania, right in the heart of everything.

Very comfortable room overlooking the harbor. You have to park about a quarter mile away because the hotel is in the historic district and is accessible by an alleyway. It is absolutely charming! The hotel room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The was a small carafe of raki infused with honey awaiting us - a traditional welcome. It was delicious.
