This is one of the most memorable places I've stayed, with a great view of the harbor, elegantly simple rooms and architecture, good breakfast, right in the middle of town but not loud, restaurants and bars conveniently nearby. We were only here 2 or 3 days, and could've stayed 2 or 3 days longer and done some day trips out...

This beautiful renovated house has three special rooms/suites in a prefect location. We were in the double room and had a small balcony overlooking the old Venetian harbor. The view was amazing. It was wonderful watching the light change on the buildings as the sun went down. Breakfasts were delicious with fruit, eggs, etc. coming from the owner's farm. The...

This accommodation has the best possible location, is extremely stylishly decorated, and had the most delightful and warm welcome. Our room came with a stunning view of the harbour as well as its own balcony area at the back. As well as the room being very comfortable, the breakfast, made with ingredients from the owners' farm, was absolutely delicious. We...

My husband and I came here on our honeymoon and we loved it!! The hotel is wonderful. The design is cozy and luxurious at the same time. Diana and Matina were both such friendly happy women we felt right at home. The breakfast there is top notch and I have never had such a good glass of orange juice in...

My husband and I stayed at Mama Nena for three nights in May 2013. The hotel is perfectly formed and beautifully decorated. Our room was perfect with a fantastic view, comfortable bed, modern bathroom and easy chairs for relaxing in. The little touches of magazines, biscuits and grappa made you feel like you were staying in someone’s home. Breakfast was...

Beautiful, tasteful, individual boutique hotel. The best in Hania. The design & luxurious finish beats all international 5 star chains. In fact, this hotel has the edge in many ways... Two of the most beautiful welcoming smiles on the island (Diana & Matina, the lovely hosts); Expert local advice and ideas from them both (things to do & see off...

We ended our two week vacation in Chania, Greece. It was a perfect ending. Our ferry was late arriving in Iraklion and we had a two hour drive to get to Chania. We arrived about 11:30 p.m. & called Heleni, one of the owners on the phone and she gave us directions which seemed vague but were accurate. We had...

What a lovely hotel! Sisters Matina and Eleni (they are the daughters of mama Nena, who grew up in this beautiful old town house) made us feel very welcome, and we stayed 2 nights in 2 different rooms, both of which had a fantastic view of the venetian harbour, The rooms are spacious, quaintly decorated and very charming and clean....

We spent one night at this delightful hotel in mid-July. The tasteful decor, antique furniture, and centuries old architecture all add to the charm of this hotel. We arrived in to Chania on a Sunday evening and were met by the hotel care taker who helped us settle in to our room. A bottle of raki awaited us, as did...
