The hotel staff are lovely.Very helpful. Hotel location convenient for ferry terminal though a little walk but pleasant around the sea front. Breakfast is included served until 1030. Do ask for rooms on the front as the views are spectacular. There are two front corner rooms most highly recommended. Especially the 4th floor. The décor in lobby and various nooks...

Super location: about 10 min walk from lovely Piraeus marina, beach just down the hill. Hotel was at its best 20-30 years ago and that's what makes it so interesting - somehow it felt like time travel :) For a couple of days - very interesting experience, try it ! :)

The breakfast was poor. The room was ok. The view was spectacular. At day there was quiet, and at the night there where partying, but not until the morning. You sleep good here. You can bath just outside the hotel and the spot is ok. The aircon unit was old and noisy but it did the job! Nightclub and restaurant...

I cannot advise readers of the state of the rooms because I did not stay here at all. However I did experience some of the best hospitality from the owner and staff on our unexpected visit. It was very hot and all I want was a cool beer so I didn't want to sit at the restaurants by the sea...

Stayed here for a week. We reserved a cheapest 2 person room with no view. When we arrived at the hotel the lady was smiling and said; we have ur room ready WITH A SEAVIEW! Ok!! Thanks a million! Room had a stunning seaview, aircondition, tub, balcany and a refrigerator. All clean but old. Beds have no upper matress only...

Excellent location and a very kindly and helpful staff. The rooms could be refurbished (old furniture) and breakfast could be a little bit improved (I stayed here 18 days and every morning I eat same food - same cheese & ham, sometimes boiled & fried eggs, jam - without a tomato, pepper or other vegetables (sometimes you could found some...

I was well received by a helpful staff at the hotel were given rooms overlooking the beach, a view which is lovely. Hotelet is old but clean and nice. The breakfast is for Greek standards, quite ok. From the hotel it is 3 min walk to the beach and several resturants, lookout cafe.

This hotel was THE place to be about 40 years ago. The decor is frozen in time but it adds to the unique charm of this once highly polished gem. Breakfast was very nice on the restaurant terrace, the staff was very nice and friendly but it certainly felt like the Greek version of the Grand Budapest Hotel.

Thank you to the staff of Cavo D'Oro - they were very helpful and accommodating. The hotel has a beautiful view of the bay and walking distance to downtown Piraeus. Good breakfast buffet. I was in Greece on business and a couple of situations came up, and the front desk staff were more than willing to help find solutions to...
