My wife and I spent 2 nights at the O&B in September. We stayed in the Jr Suite, Acropolis View. The hotel was great. Our room was clean and modern, well appointed, comfortable and we had a perfect view of the Acropolis. We also had a nice balcony over looking the street. The staff was very helpful, especially Elvis. The...

We stayed at this hotel two different nights. It's conveniently located within a 5 min walk of the Montastiraki metro station where we arrived from the airport. The Acropolis and central attractions are about a 10 minute walk. Also, there's another metro station 100m down the street which goes to Piraeus where we took our ferry. The staff was extremely...

Lovely little hotel in a funky part of town, within walking distance of the major attractions, shopping area, flea market, great restaurants and cafes. Cosy rooms with good balconies - I recommend the Acropolis view room!

An amazing small hotel in a great location. The staff, especially the front desk were fabulous. They provided great recommendations on restaurants etc and always followed up with us to ensure we enjoyed their recommendation. The best hotel room we had on a 3 week vacation across Europe. Large rooms with really comfortable beds. The room was quiet and the...

This little hotel really made our stay in Athens special. It is located within walking distance of the Acropolis, lots of non touristy restaurants, and an area of great shops and more restaurants. The staff was terrific. Lots of little niceties. Everyone speaks English which was great for getting directions and suggestions of places to visit and dine. A block...

We stayed in the hotel for two nights September 2014. The hotel is very close to Acropolis and Thissio metro station. Top quality breakfast. Best bathroom during our whole three weeks Europe trip. Most importantly, the service we received was excellent, reception staff were very nice and helpful. Will definitely stay in here again the next visit.

Service: Excellent (The staff is pretty servicial and very attentive) Location: Excellent (We managed to walk through the main views of Athens in 1 day because of this gorgeous location) Breakfast: Very Good (i.e. eggs, fruit, bread, and more.) Rooms: We stayed in the superior double room (I think?). Bed is super cool, and the room is spacious enough. There...

Staying in Psirri / Gazi

Neighbourhood Profile
Psirri / Gazi
Side-by-side neighbourhoods Psirri and Gazi provide some of the city’s prime nightlife. The almost claustrophobic streets of Psirri feature an interesting blend of original small businesses with the restaurants, cafés and bars that have recently sprouted up. The central artery of Agion Anargiron Street has lively places to eat or drink. Further west, you can visit the peaceful ancient cemetery of Keramikos, then cross busy Pireos Street to find yourself in Gazi. With the huge Technopolis performance and art complex converted from old gasworks at its heart, you really have to come at night to appreciate this maze of bars at its best, although a daytime stroll will allow you to admire the excellent street art.
