My stay at Arion was short but pleasant. The location is very convenient as you are at walking distances from the Parthenon and there is a lot to see on your way there. There are plenty of good restaurants nearby. My only recommendation would be to add some lights to the balcony so guest can sit and enjoy a nice...

The hotel has modern facilities and a very helpful staff. Although it does has a very central and convenient location, travellers need to pay attention that it's located in Psirri neighborhood, which is not so nice as neighboring Plaka and Monastiraki (many hotel booking sites advertise this property at these other neighborhoods). We have booked directly with the hotel at...

A hidden gem in the back streets of Athens. Everything is within walking distance, with some lovely restaurants in the area. Monastriaki square is the closest to the hotel although it can be quite off putting with the area covered in graffiti and homeless about but if you look past that you will find some incredible places. A for Athens...

My family and I had a weeks holiday in Athens, we selected this hotel after reading the reviews which were mostly favorable. I have to say that we were not in any way disappointed with this hotel. The location is nicely central, the room was clean and comfortable. All the staff, at reception, catering and housekeeping, were wonderful and made...

Good modern hotel, great value. Comfortable room, with nice view - better as you go up. Everything is walking distance. Very close to bars/restaurants, lively neighborhood, 5 minutes from the Monastraiki metro station. Good breakfast, friendly staff. To make perfect, I would add coffee/tea in the rooms, and better shower sealing.

We have just returned from a crazy trip in Athens, with my husband's wallet stolen by a group of pickpocketing "experts" that included a man who pretended to be blind, at the Monastiraki metro stop. So I am starting this review with a warning: Just be careful, keep your money where thieves can't imagine they could be, keep your hands...

Inside, this is a pleasant, modern hotel with the right amenities and a good breakfast. The desk clerk on that Friday night was very pleasant and helpful. The hotel was a modern interior, nice and clean with great view to Athens Akropolis. Great bathroom! Staying in Psirri / Gazi

Neighbourhood Profile
Psirri / Gazi
Side-by-side neighbourhoods Psirri and Gazi provide some of the city’s prime nightlife. The almost claustrophobic streets of Psirri feature an interesting blend of original small businesses with the restaurants, cafés and bars that have recently sprouted up. The central artery of Agion Anargiron Street has lively places to eat or drink. Further west, you can visit the peaceful ancient cemetery of Keramikos, then cross busy Pireos Street to find yourself in Gazi. With the huge Technopolis performance and art complex converted from old gasworks at its heart, you really have to come at night to appreciate this maze of bars at its best, although a daytime stroll will allow you to admire the excellent street art.
