Located walking distance from most sights that you'll want to visit. In a great neighbourhood to be a tourist. Kitchen was a very nice addition even if you eat out most of the time. Staff were very helpful and professional. Taxi stand right out the front door. Subway is a close walk. I would stay here again.

Great location, excellent hotel. The staff and service are exemplary and the rooms are well appointed. The suites are very spacious with balconies and kitchenettes. I am unable to find fault. Athens at its best.

The hotel itself was really great and had really nice small balconies with kitchenettes. I would recommend anyone stay here for any amount of time. The best features about this place are two things the staff was really really nice they even gave me a few splits of champagne when I told them it was my birthday. The location is...

A lovely boutique hotel in the center of Athens, in Plaka district. Clean and big rooms that offer you just what you need. People working there are very attentive and always willing to assist you in every way. Highly recommended! Gracias a todos...

In short, this was a great hotel experience. Now for details, details, details.... Exclusive suite 301 has a terrific view of the Acropolis and tons of space for entertaining, which was important to use as we were celebrating our 30th anniversary with 46 friends and had friends each every night to enjoy the Acropolis view from the balcony and get...

This is a very good hotel in an excellent position. My junior suite was excellent, and also had views from the small balcony of the Acropolis and Hadrian's Arch. It is quite expensive, but so are other good hotels in Athens. My one small gripe is that there should be chairs for the balcony, so that you do not have...

My wife and I spent 3 nights here prior to boarding a cruise, and it was delightful! We suggest a suite with a balcony, it was only 45 Euro more than a regular room and included an excellent breakfast for two which would have been 15 Euro apiece in a regular room so really a negligible upcharge. The room was...

Surprised my wife and booked the suite for our stay in Athens. And she loved it. You walk out and are right in Plaka. The suite is spectacular! The best bed I slept in during my stay in Greece. A very classy hotel.

We stayed here for two nights (Oct 3-5). This hotel has a very good location because it is right in the Plaka area. It is a not so new boutique hotel by the looks of its elevator and rooms but service is very personalized because it only has a total of 16 rooms so one has to book earlier if...

We spent 3 nights in this lovely small hotel. Located just a few meters from Hadrian's arch on the very edge of the Plaka, it is well placed to access the Acropolis as well as the many small restaurants in the touristy Plaka. The staff are English speaking and very friendly. Upon arrival we were treated to a welcoming of...

Staying in Plaka

Neighbourhood Profile
Plaka
Due to its proximity to the Acropolis, Plaka remains the area where the majority of foreign visitors stay and play. Its attractive features include small squares, some notable museums and the beautiful Mitropolis cathedral, as well as a host of places to stay, eat and drink. Its pedestrian zones make it a pleasant place to escape from the city’s notorious traffic. Adrianou and Kidathineon Streets contain a number of souvenir shops, offering classier items than you will find in the Flea Market. The most rewarding section to explore is the upper reaches towards the Acropolis itself, where many old stone houses with tiled roofs have survived. Up here you can find leafier corners and the odd quaint taverna with unobstructed views of the ancient rock.
