I stayed there for three nights on business trip. Check in was quick and professional, according to receptionist I was upgraded. The room was nice, but not very spacious. I was disappointed with a view. I was hoping to wake up in a bright room, instead I had to switch on the light in the morning as I had atrium...

The hotel is very good, though maybe a bit overrated, as it is considered a 5-star hotel. The reception staff is very friendly and helpful. They gave me a quiet room with a king size bed, as requested in the booking. The hotel room was spacious and well appointed, Bed was very comfortable. The carpet was a bit worn-out, but...

I had an executive suite, so it was a good size for what I needed. I was greatly disappointed with breakfast and decided I could not eat any meals at this hotel. I went to breakfast every morning to get a glass of orange juice and eat a hard boiled egg. Scrambled eggs looked more like cream of corn, simply...

Good price for the quality of hotel. Not good to walk in local area at night. Nearby lots of prostitutes and drunks but down the hill from the hotel - not at hotel site. Disappointed that spa and pool were shut at our visit but the downstairs lounge was comfy and the computer worked. Would I stay again? Yes. Good...

Great rooms, excellent staff at all levels. Service and friendliness exceptional. Restaurant provided great meals. Breakfast buffet had a wide range and was of good quality (if a litte expensive). Location allowed for easy access to the attractions of Athens and to the metrorail.

The ultimate tests for me are 1) whether I would come back to a hotel on a return trip; and 2) whether I would recommend it to family and friends. Staying in Exarchia

Neighbourhood Profile
Exarchia
Exarchia is in many ways Athens’ best-kept secret, discovered by relatively few international visitors. Located behind the main University and Polytechnic buildings, it is unsurprisingly home to many students, intellectuals and politicos. This is reflected in the area’s vibrant street art and graffiti, which seems to cover almost every inch of wall space. Some of the best Athenian tavernas are located here, as well as its most alternative bars and underground music venues. You'll find political bookshops and quirky stores here, yet it is also a neighborhood inhabited by families and older folk. On Saturdays, punks and grandmothers alike head for Kallidromiou Street, nestled below Strefi Hill, to pick up fresh produce at the traditional laiki agora (street market).
