The hotel is located in one of the best shopping and cafes areas in Athens... on the high end shopping street, and within walking distance from the restaurant and coffee shops streets... The rooms are small and very basic and can be at little cost improved (as well as the bathrooms)... free internet but no complementary water. People at the...

A small boutique hotel very conveniently place in Athens close to Syntagma square and 2mn walk from the metro station and bus terminal ti. The hotel would need a bit of renovation (carpets, painting, furnitures, bathrooms ...), as the last renovation is at least 15 years old, but it is clean and for the price, it is a good value....

Stayex at athens lycabettus for 3 nights, with our 2 kids. The service was SUPERB, the rooms clean and the area incredible. We walked everywhere. The shopping was great and the open tour buses were right at the main square. I would def stay there again

This small boutique hotel is centrally located within walking distance of most everything a visitor to Athens will want to see and visit. The rooms are clean, modern, and most have balconies and at just 90-100 euros/night, a great value that also includes a very good and plentiful breakfast. There is a very nice sidewalk cafe attached to the hotel...

Hair dryer is broken, few lamps didn't work which make the room looks dark, as we just stayed therefor a night and checked out at the early morning, so it was still...

Lycabettus (not to be confused with the St. George hotel with same name) is very well located in the centre of the boutique area of Athens in a pedestrianised area. There are lots cafes, bars, restaurants and shops located close by, and the night life in and around the hotel is quite buzzy. The hotel itself is a bit dated...

Don't mix up Xenos Lycabettus with St. George Lycabettus-up much higher on the hill, and more expensive. Xenos Lycabettus is perfectly located 1/2 way between Kolonaki Sqoare, and Syntagma Square. Easy access to metro for Acropolis etc. Walking distance to Benaki and Gouldandris museums. Located on pedestrian street, with popular cafes across the way. Quiet. Modern decor. Helpful staff. Breakfasts quite...

Staying in Syntagma

Neighbourhood Profile
Syntagma
Perhaps the best place to get your bearings is Syntagma Square, crowned by the imposing Parliament building on its upper side and surrounded by other large structures, such as the exclusive Hotel Grande Bretagne. The grand avenues that lead towards Omonia are also full of massive Neoclassical edifices like the Numismatic Museum and those around smaller Platia Kolokotroni. Here you will find lots of travel agents, bookshops and fashion shops, especially on Ermou Street. Just south of Syntagma Square, you can take a breather in the lush National Gardens, which extend into the grounds of the Zappeio palace and beyond to the ancient Temple of Olympian Zeus.
