A great, well run hotel. A five minute walk from the metro, with links to both the airport and piraeus (1.60 euros). Bathrooms a little dated but fabulous water pressure and hot water. We got breakfast included, and all for a bargain price when you...More

I stayed at the Adrain Hotel in December of 2013. I was late in making a reservation in same hotel as my friends, so I chose Adrian because of the price and the location, just a five minute walk from Ermou, a big shopping street...More
I would give this hotel the top rating IF their wi-fi worked all the time. But other than that, this was a great place to stay on our first trip to Greece. The location is unbeatable. We were able to walk to everything we wanted...More
Due to its proximity to the Acropolis, Plaka remains the area where the majority of foreign visitors stay and play. Its attractive features include small squares, some notable museums and the beautiful Mitropolis cathedral, as well as a host of places to stay, eat and drink. Its pedestrian zones make it a pleasant place to escape from the city’s notorious traffic. Adrianou and Kidathineon Streets contain a
number of souvenir shops, offering classier items than you will find in the Flea Market. The most rewarding section to explore is the upper reaches towards the Acropolis itself, where many old stone houses with tiled roofs have survived. Up here you can find leafier corners and the odd quaint taverna with unobstructed views of the ancient rock.

We actually took the train from the airport to the station that is about 3-4 blocks away from the hotel. It took about 50 mins to to get there which around the same amount of time by taxi. As for cost it's €8/person to take the train and I am sure for the cost for a taxi would be more expensive. It also depends on the amount of luggage you have too.
