Handy to the city center. Clean and nice rooms well equipped. Beautiful view from the roof garden. Friendly staff. Basic but satisfactory breakfast. Very good value for money. We spend there night before leaving Greece and was plesantly suprised.

The hotel is average and very basic. The neighbourhood is very seedy with less than desirable people hanging out in the streets and park outside the hotel. The room was clean but it was quite noisy, the service was ok. The breakfast was poor. I recommend using this hotel for only 1 night, we simply used it as a gateway...

I stayed alone for one night in Athens during August 2013, and this was a pretty convenient and damn cheap place. Not far from the centre and other attractions in Athens. The staff was quite helpful and pointed out the main attractions, the way to get there and also gave tips on good places to eat traditional food in and...

We stayed here for two nights and I couldn't wait to leave The place. Hotel in general was ok- nice guy at the reception, he was very helpful, room was clean and tidy, and there were a few restaurants to choose from just in few steps from the hotel. One thing I didn't like - I didn't feel safe there....

My three children and I stayed in a family room (two connected rooms) on June 15, 16, 17, and 18 June 2013. We were happy with the motel. It was clean and fairly nice. The breakfast was okay. The best thing about the motel was the staff. Parking can be an issue in the area of the motel. Somehow the...

The Hotel itself was o.k. We stayed with a family of 4 in two connected room for a youth hostel like rate. So don't expect too much. But the room was fairly clean and the continental breakfast was sufficient to start the day. The staff was helpful and friendly. They let us use our room until the late afternoon on...

the exarchia area in athens is fantastic for the streetlife and the bohemian lifestyle of the cafes and restaraunts. this hotel is smack bang in the centre of it! across from exarchia square where there is a myriad of coffee shops and restaraunts and just a short walk from omonia and buses to syntagma. the hotel is well appointed with...

I stayed in this hotel for three nights in October. I was alone in the hotel as my friends were staying elsewhere. My room was a spacious double on the sixth floor, very comfortable and clean. The street noise was satisfactorily shut out by the balcony doors at night. I did not hear any noise inside the hotel at night....

Hotel was clean, staff helpfull, rooms normally equipped (fridge, air condition, tv, wifi, balcony), in hotel 2 bars and nonstop fast food. My price was 99 EUR for 3 nights. You can hear traffic noise from the...

Clean all you need including free wifi and Internet access. We found this hotel on the net 24hrs before we travelled, price amazing and included breakfast. We parked outside the front door and had a warm helpful greeting from the manager. Well it's in a tired area of Athens but the location for sight seeing makes up for that. Satellite...

Staying in Exarchia

Neighbourhood Profile
Exarchia is in many ways Athens’ best-kept secret, discovered by relatively few international visitors. Located behind the main University and Polytechnic buildings, it is unsurprisingly home to many students, intellectuals and politicos. This is reflected in the area’s vibrant street art and graffiti, which seems to cover almost every inch of wall space. Some of the best Athenian tavernas are located here, as well as its most alternative bars and underground music venues. You'll find political bookshops and quirky stores here, yet it is also a neighborhood inhabited by families and older folk. On Saturdays, punks and grandmothers alike head for Kallidromiou Street, nestled below Strefi Hill, to pick up fresh produce at the traditional laiki agora (street market).
