We were definitely thankful for the help from the staff in making recommendations on events to see, public transportation, and the general directions where things were in town. The room was fairly inexpensive and a great option for saving some money. It was a little smaller than we expected, but was ok since we didn't plan on hanging out in...

We stayed here in April 2013 and found it to be very convenient for visiting athen's and nice and near to all the places a tourist would want to visit. The rooms were clean and adequate, and Christos and Nancy were absolutely lovely. Very helpful family and made our stay enjoyable offering us advice on where to eat and how...

It was a very nice time in this hotel. Very kindly stuff, my room was daily very cleaned. Christos was helping me in all my questions I had and so I can say, it was very good. It was not far away from historical city Plaka and Acropolis, very practic. Metro is near and bus stations. Some Tavernes are there...

Loved this hotel for a quick stay in Athens. It was near all the action but also in a residential area with plenty of supermarkets and cafes, and off the tourist track. Christos was also really helpful by changing my bookings even though the reservation was supposed to be non refundable with booking.com. A real find and I wouldn't hesitate...

Very very basic. even though we booked hotel about 2 months ago, we were not offered good rooms and not even according to our requirements. when they say private bathroom, that does not mean bathroom is in...

While I have to say that the pictures on the hotel's website made the rooms look a lot nicer and roomier than they actually were...we had a great stay at Marble House. It's a great price for it's location and walking distance to Plaka and the Acropolis. It's got a very hostel feeling though (ie shared bathrooms, people congregating and...

Marble house is a little hotel situated in a quiet street; nevertheless it is very close to Acropolis as well as other sites worth visiting. The metro station is really close too. The hotel is run by a family, I had the chance to know all of them, they were all very kind and helpful, especially Christos who kindly suggested...

Marble house a small family hotel situated in a small street where cars can't come so it's very quiet. I had a double room even though I had reserved a single one. I had a private bathroom with shower, but not in my room, just in front of the corridor. The family who works there is just lovely, especially Christos...

We've just stayed 4 days at the Marble House and can highly recommend it as a place to stay in Athens. The price was very reasonable, walking distance to the Acropolis, impeccably clean, (especially the shared bathroom), and Christo aims to please his guests consistently and strives to make your holiday pleasant and enjoyable. As others have stated, it's at...
