The hotel is not bad for short stay. Location is the best part of the hotel. Unfortunately the rooms we stayed twice had no views. Lifts were bad. Good staff. Good buffet breakfast. Saddest part is there is no free wifi in the rooms that is the most critical part of anyone's stay. Every time you have to rush to...

Great location of the hotel. Easy to travel around. It had very reach buffet for breakfast, clean and spacious rooms, beautiful hall. Friendly staff. They have their own taxi service ready by the doors of the hotel to get you whenever you want. Would definitely book again

Room in back had absolutely no view, but was quiet and spacious (almost two rooms, with a sofa in one), with a balcony. The accommodating staff insisted that we look at a smaller room on the front and at the one that we chose, just to make sure that we were happy.

Titania hotel is located next to Omonia metro station and with walking distance to the main attractions including Plaka, the National parliament and the shopping districts. The Breakfast's selection is various and outstanding and the staff especially the receptionists are very professional and friendly. The disadvantages are the outdated decor and the rooms needed some repairs (the walls, the bathroom,...

Hotel accommodations were great and rooms were very clean and A/C worked wonderful. This hotel food selection were wonderful. Our group only spent the night before we traveled on. The hotel gives a great view of the Parthenon at night.

I was totally displeased by this hotel. The overall quality is horrid, everythind is under the supposed "4 star" rate. Outdated decoration yet in the lobby and all through the halls and to the rooms. Very unpleasant, not at all comfy or welcoming, a place where you don´t feel like staying after you´ve entered. The bathroom was very old, not...

I arrived here to a wonderful foyer, only to be very disappointed by a very basic room, nothing like the website. I booked a double room and staying for 6 days, you would not stay here for a romantic break, you never want to stay in the room. The only advantage of the awful bedroom is that makes you get...

Staying in Omonia

Neighbourhood Profile
Omonia
Omonia Square is as plain in appearance as Syntagma is grand. Surrounded largely by functional blocks from the 1950s and 60s and no longer boasting its underground stalls, the square is now mostly frequented by immigrants and bargain shoppers. The most rewarding area to explore is to the south. Set off down Athinas Street, with the Acropolis gradually coming into focus in the distance, and you will get a sense of old commercial Athens, especially at the picturesque meat, fish and vegetable markets some way beyond the City Hall. The blocks to the west of Athinas are home to many Chinese and South Asian traders, adding a multicultural atmosphere to what was until the late 1990s a very homogenous society.
