Very good hotel. Great proximity to center and a lot of shopping and restaurants at a good price. The hotel is very clean. The staff is very friendly and accommodating to our needs. Free breakfast a big plus in the morning

Right by A central station so easy access to airport and other parts of Athens. The breakfast is absolutely fantastic, great selection and quality of food. Very tidy and classy hotel. The showers are very European! (Small and awkward and weak)

And are so glad we found this hotel! The front desk staff was incredible! Christina was so helpful, nice, and kind. All staff we encountered were friendly. We enjoyed a drink, the pool, and view from their sister hotel, Electra Palace. I visited the spa and was extremely pleased! The ladies at spa were fantastic. I can't say enough about...

The worst 4* hotel I've ever been. The breakfast is good. And the location is very good. The staff is rude and very nervous. The rooms are very small and a lot of noisy. Are the walls made of paper? The air extractiin is very loud and the cleaning staff starts to cleaning before 9 a.m. with a lot of...

A nice hotel, walking distance from shopping area and near pick up for the city sightseeing bus Athens. This is also near the Parliament. The hotel is clean and nice, the service only lacks manpower. But our overall stay is good. I would recommend this hotel and I would comeback here. In short, I am satisfied with our stay. We...

I stayed here 2 nights on a businesses trip and had to get out early on the first day. Unfortunately breakfast is only being served from 07:00. So, arriving at 06:30 there was nothing. I stayed as a single in a double room, but if you are with 2 then the room is way too small. Not only the bedroom...

We stayed here the last two nights of our trip to Greece. After staying in boutique hotels and B&Bs with a family feel, it was different to come stay in a hotel. The rooms were very nice, the bathroom was grand. We had a fabulous view of the Acropolis from our balcony. Room service was good as well. We had...

Well located by the parliament and national gardens. Free swift wifi. Not too noisy given the central location. Rooms quite small and rather old fashioned but clean. Slightly expensive for size/quality of rooms.

Staying in Syntagma

Neighbourhood Profile
Syntagma
Perhaps the best place to get your bearings is Syntagma Square, crowned by the imposing Parliament building on its upper side and surrounded by other large structures, such as the exclusive Hotel Grande Bretagne. The grand avenues that lead towards Omonia are also full of massive Neoclassical edifices like the Numismatic Museum and those around smaller Platia Kolokotroni. Here you will find lots of travel agents, bookshops and fashion shops, especially on Ermou Street. Just south of Syntagma Square, you can take a breather in the lush National Gardens, which extend into the grounds of the Zappeio palace and beyond to the ancient Temple of Olympian Zeus.
