Misleading photos from triple executive room and the hotel facilities made me to reserve one for this trip! What we received was one of the most disappointing room I ever stayed in! The room was not even at the level of a 3* hotel. It was clean though, and the location was good. The view from breakfast hall (on 7th...

My husband I stayed for 4 nights and would return in a heartbeat. The location is a 5 minute walk to The Arcopolis and the new, fabulous Acropolis Museum; and 2 minutes to Zeus' Temple ruins. The top floor's bar/restaurant have SPECTACULAR views of both, gracefully lit at night. Breakfast is an enormous buffet in the restaurant room with ceiling...

Very good hotel in the center of athens, you can walk up to every tourist attraction from this hotel-acropolis, plaka, syntagma square and First olympic Stadium. Best buffet with a acropolis view and helpful staff

On our last day in Athens, we stayed at an elegant hotel called “Royal Olympic”/ A copy of the “Charioteer” of Delphi stared at the tourist in the lobby. It looked liked the original in the Delphi Museum. We had a suite of room that made you want to stay indoors. Oil paintings of Greece adorned the halls. The big...

Good hotel for a long stay. I stayed here for a week as part of a 25 member team for a conference. Got upgraded to deluxe room for free. The rooms are modern, clean and quiet. It is close to the Temple of Zeus, in fact the roof top restaurant has an excellent view of the Ruins as well as...

A very classy hotel with lavishly decorated common areas. Room isn't quite as exquisite but fulfils our needs and we had a very good rest. We were also given a free room upgrade. Breakfast had great variety and fantastic view towards the Acropolis and Temple of Zeus. Service is of high standard throughout. A solid choice as the base to...

This hotel was indeed a highlight of our trip. The staff right from the start were helpful and pleasant. They always had great suggestions of places to eat and booked great day trips out. The breakfast was so lovely up in the rooftop restaurant and was quite plentiful and delicious. No, I wasn't paid for this review. It is just...

The views of Athens are amazing and some of the aesthetics of the hotel are very pleasing but the Royal Olympic is not 5* in my view. Some notes: - convenient location less than five minutes walk from Acropolis metro station - our room is sweltering and the aircon doesn't seem to be making a difference - tea/coffee facilities not...

The hotel itself is good. The only problem is that where the bathroom entrance tiles join the carpet there is no joining strip and they are raised with sharp edges. I caught my toe on them and cut it quite badly. This isn't just a one off as well as I visited a friends room and her bathroom was the...

Stayed here for a conference. View from breakfast and breakfast itself were very good and included with the conference stay. Location a bit away from the main attractions but in a nice safe area. Hotel itself needs some renovations. Overall a good stay but definitely not worth the price or # of stars it advertises itself to be.
