Guests from Singapore to Sydney have all raved about Bellevue Farmstay, a working farm atop a hill in majestic country Victoria, just minutes from the Great Ocean Road. A visit to Bellevue Farmstay offers the experience of living on a farm, meeting, feeding and generally getting to know and mixing with our lovely pet animals (alpacas, sheep, dogs, cows, goats and cats). We offer Animal Feeding daily where guests can walk and talk with most of the animals, they are very inquisitive with individual personalities and come up nice and close to meet you. Time permitting, usually on a three night stay, we can have a pre-arranged visit for you to view 600 cows being milked at a nearby computerized rotary dairy. Returning to Bellevue at dusk during the winter months, we usually catch sight of some kangaroos in the wild. FARMSTAY HOME COMFORTS: For the larger groups, we have these bedding options in the Farmstay ::- Bedroom 1 (queen bed)*- Bedroom 2 (2 x single beds)*- Bedroom 3 (2 x single beds)*- Lounge Room (2 x double bed sofa sleepers); and - Family Room (2 x double sofa bed sleepers)- Portacot* electric blankets. During the cooler months, the house is kept lovely and warm with a robust wood-burning heater in the large carpeted Family Room, plus we also have a split system heater/air conditioner in the Lounge Room. There is a DVD player with a handful of children’s DVDs and games for the large flat screen TV in the Family Room. We have a spa bath in the bathroom and a separate shower and second toilet in the fully equipped laundry. We provide a starter supply of detergent (for the washing machine) and dishwasher. Our Farmstay is a comfy home-away-from-home experience for all guests.

This is a well-oiled machine of an experience. Travelled with 2 small children and the staff we interacted with are all clearly experienced and knowledgable about how to make a farmstay absolutely incredible for the adults and the children. A lot of care was put in towards making sure we were comfortable and having a good time. Lots of well-thought out, and safe, hands on experiences with the animals for everyone. Lots of kindness, laughs, and sharing of knowledge from the staff. Amazing tractor rides. The house is spacious, well-maintained and in an incredibly beautiful spot with gorgeous views of the landscape and farm animals. If you want a genuine farmstay experience, with kind, hospitable staff and lovely experiences - I would definitely recommend Bellevue.

Great farmstay experience for children (our group's were 4 to 9yrs old) and the adults who learnt a lot too. We spent 4 nights there and thoroughly enjoyed it. Each morning we could all help out feeding the animals (sheep, goats, calves, camel, alpacas, horses, chickens, ...). Warren and Glenda were both really friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. The holiday house was old, but clean with a reasonably well equipped kitchen. Two showers and toilets were good for a larger group. The weather was quite cool and the inverter (solar) and wood heater kept us all plenty warm. Beautiful views of the rolling hills and coutryside all around. The location was a good base for exploring Port Campbell, Timboon, Cobden and the nearby sections of the Great Ocean Road. Highly recommended!

Beautiful setting for families with kids. We had a really good time at Bellevue Farmstay. We were blown away by Warren's hospitality and kids thoroughly enjoyed the tractor and Mule rides, and of course the animal feeding.

During these difficult times myself and 12 of my friends plus a puppy and an infant decided to spend Queens Birthday long weekend at Bellavue Farmstay, what we experienced was just magical. From a wonderful property with magnificent views to a clean, well equipped house Bellavue is just a fantastic place to get away to. It is perfect for groups with children and pets as well as for families of any size. But the most special thing about Bellavue is the family there, Warren and Wendy are the nicest most genuine people we have met in a long time. They take the time out to give you the best experience you can have. I loved this weekend and I can't wait to return! Families with children should especially visit the farm and take part in the animal feeding..such a great experience! Thankyou Warren and Wendy ♥️

We were initially anxious about the bushfire situation, but Wendy was super helpful and updated us promptly. When we arrived, it was green everywhere. We learnt that the farm was far from the affected areas and we felt safe. The accommodation was nice and clean and well equipped for cooking and a good nights rest. This is a working farm! We got a chance to come up close with the different farm animals and got to feed them and learn about their habits and personalities! Fell in love with the alpacas! We would definitely recommend Bellevue for an enjoyable farmstay experience! Pro Tip! Don’t miss the chance to enjoy the starry nightsky during your stay! Marvellous!

We stayed here with our 2 teenage children. We were on a camping trip so we actually stayed in our own camper trailer but we were able to use the toilet and shower in the house We did the animal feeding one morning with Warren and Wendy and had the pleasure of meeting their pet camel, sheep, lamas and baby calves. A fabulous place ( the house looked lovely inside even though we did not stay there) has and outdoor fire and pergola with bbq. It’s an easy drive into the township of Timboon which has a cheese farm, distillery and ice creamery Warren and Wendy are great hosts and their farm is a beautiful place to stay

A nice farmstay with very hospitable hosts who make sure that we are comfortable. The visit to the farm was fun, feeding the animals, rolling in the hay, and riding in the tractor. The beds are equipped with electric blanket for the cold nights. baby high chairs, small stool in the toilet also makes it an ease for families with small children. The host Wendy and Warren also have a small vegetable garden where we can get the freshest tomatoes, celery and squash etc. Overall a very good place for families to spend quality time together.

Thanks Warren, Lisa, & Wendy for the wonderful host. We had a wonderful experience. Your patience and hospitality is exceptional. We had finally experienced the tranquility, weather, & hospitality that we have been craving for which cannot be found in Singapore. When we reach the place as our first stop in Melbourne, it felt so calm and relaxed and all the stress were gone at that very instance. The fireplace kept us warm and the feeling was so nice. I prefer to feel cold and stay in front of the fireplace than feeling hot and stay in front of the aircon. :D Really appreciate that you offer to help us get groceries at night when we were too tired to drive out. This is what I call exceeding customer expectation which is what triggers me to write this review. I'll certainly return if I were to go Melbourne again. Thanks once again!!! Regards, Clarrie & Kenny

My husband first comment when he stepped out of the car was "I don't know if I can bear to leave this place when we leave!" The children headed straight to the mini playground right in front of the house and ran in the house so carefree and so excited over their beddings... The hosts, Wendy, Warren and Lisa were so welcoming and they always have a smile on their face. You can tell how much they love the farm and the animals. The animals, especially Zoe the sheep/goat, leaped in joy when she first met us... For food of cos. the moment you stepped into the farm, its just feel so much at home, so loved. Bellevue is a very popular farmstay, so do book way in advance.... and before Dear Warren and Wendy retire.. They are the soul of the farm, they are ever so caring and so concern about us.. So humble and so giving! 4 days and 3 nights is not enough, so please spend more time there... Before you leave, please take some time alone to walk around the farm and experience the scenic views... This is indeed an unforgettable holiday and it will stay inside our heart forever!
