After staying at Bellevue for 2 nights last week, I totally agree with the 100% Excellent reviews that they are receiving on Tripadvisor. My family of 10 totally enjoyed ourselves, especially the little ones and even my in-laws, who still remember fondly the great time they had there - this has to be the top accommodation experience we had for...

Bellevue Farmstay was the highlight of our trip; we thoroughly enjoyed our time with Warren, Wendy, Lisa and the animal hosts, and shed more than a few tears when it was time to leave. The level of hospitality we were extended from the time we got stuck in the mud trying to get to Bellevue (ask Warren for this story...

It was spring, and we were experiencing windy and rainy weather, with bits of sunshine. Wendy and Warren were excellent hosts, and their daughter Lisa was so helpful to the family even though they were having some troubles on their own. We really appreciate their hospitality through out the stay. The farmhouse was cozy with good heating from the fireplace,...

This was the epitome of our family trip to Melbourne and the Great Ocean Road. Wendy and Warren are warmest of host that shared their family experiences that made this trip such a memorable one. The farm was well equipped to the T, with everything you need from warm electric blanket to all cooking needs with stocked up coffee, tea...

Received a warm welcome to the farm by Warren & Wendy, the friendly host. We have great funs with the lovely pet animals. Able to get very close to them and it's a joy feeding them. The Bellevue farmstay has given us a wonderful and memorial ending to our yearly family holiday trips.

We had a wonderful 3 nights at Bellevue Farmstay. The farmhouse itself is comfortable and cosy with plenty of room for the whole family. The highlight though was spending time with hosts, Warren, Wendy, Lisa and Mandy and their collection of pet and farm animals. It was great feeding the animals and feeling part of the farm. Our son, who...

One of the highlights of my trip to Melbourne! It's takes about 2 a half to 3 hours drive from the airport. The place is fairly easy to navigate but make sure to drive in the day as the roads heading towards the farm gets really dark once night falls. The farm house that we stayed at was lovely! All...

Our family stayed in more than one farm stay during our great ocean visit, and Bellevue Farmstay was the only place that our whole family, including our kids, called it "our home". The house was lovely and warm and the owner will accept only one family or group at a time, so you will get their full attention during your...

Wendy, Warren and their daughters are genuinely a warm and charming family. I was a bit nervous about how it would all go (city girl) but seeing how excited and happy the kids were about meeting and feeding the animals, having tractor rides and exploring the farm made the stay so worthwhile. We really appreciated how patient and kind they...

I was there with my family, 5 adults and 2 kids.. And the hosts, Warren and Wendy made us feel so at home! We arrived pretty late at night, and was surprised and thankful to find a rice cooker in the kitchen and of cos the cozy and warm fireplace! My mother was so happy with the kitchen, compared to...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Guests from Singapore to Sydney have all raved about Bellevue Farmstay, a working farm atop a hill in majestic country Victoria, just minutes from the Great Ocean Road. A visit to Bellevue Farmstay offers the experience of living on a farm, meeting, feeding and generally getting to know and mixing with our lovely pet animals (alpacas, sheep, dogs, cows, goats and cats). We offer Animal Feeding daily where guests can walk and talk with most of the animals, they are very inquisitive with individual personalities and come up nice and close to meet you. Time permitting, usually on a three night stay, we can have a pre-arranged visit for you to view 600 cows being milked at a nearby computerized rotary dairy. Returning to Bellevue at dusk during the winter months, we usually catch sight of some kangaroos in the wild. FARMSTAY HOME COMFORTS: For the larger groups, we have these bedding options in the Farmstay ::- Bedroom 1 (queen bed)*- Bedroom 2 (2 x single beds)*- Bedroom 3 (2 x single beds)*- Lounge Room (2 x double bed sofa sleepers); and - Family Room (2 x double sofa bed sleepers)- Portacot* electric blankets. During the cooler months, the house is kept lovely and warm with a robust wood-burning heater in the large carpeted Family Room, plus we also have a split system heater/air conditioner in the Lounge Room. There is a DVD player with a handful of children’s DVDs and games for the large flat screen TV in the Family Room. We have a spa bath in the bathroom and a separate shower and second toilet in the fully equipped laundry. We provide a starter supply of detergent (for the washing machine) and dishwasher. Our Farmstay is a comfy home-away-from-home experience for all guests. ... more   less
