fantastic! We stayed at the hotel for 10 days and have never had such a great experience. The staff was incredibly friendly and super helpful. For the third time in a raw, we decided to come back to Melia Koh Samui. We can confirm that from the house keeping, to the F&B team, crossing by the front office team, we had, one more time, an AMAZING experience. A spécial thanks to Kamlai- Eye - and all the F&B team for their great service / to chef Aziz & to Yolande for their extreme quality of work / to Ple,Air,Aom,Ann,Pat, and of course Bell for their irreproachable work. And OF COURSE, to Naan & to Aun for their permanent great welcome and unique dedication to the guest experience…all this thanks to the formidable professionalism of the experimented GM Ernesto ! We had a wonderful time here with our 6 month old baby. The hotel is outstanding and the staff is super friendly and try to help you whenever you need help. Also, the Hotel is very clean. I gotta admit that this is one of best trip ever in southern of Thailand. Since a minute we enter the lobby the staff always smile and willing to help until the day we leave. The place is fantastic with green and white theme along with pool and seaview. We got pool access and deluxe room, both of them come with morelike western breakfast and the level access that give you tea break and evening bar. The maze pool quite better for kids to adventures. The hotel had tons of activities that you can enjoy all day or you can ask the hotel for half and all day trip. Cannot waiting for next time to visit again.

We booked this hotel after reading the amazing reviews and it definitely did not disappoint. From the minute we were picked up at the airport the staff were accommodating and helpful. We booked a level boat suite with pool access. The room came with breakfast included and cocktails during an evening happy hour which was a great touch. The level suite pool area was amazing, such a great view whilst sitting on the bean bags in the evening overlooking the sea. The breakfast was amazing!! Every morning there was a great selection of items and fresh pastries and fruit. The staff throughout our stay were fantastic, very friendly and helpful and would go out of their way to accommodate you. The room was cleaned daily to a very high standard. We had a small issue with the aircon in the bedroom which was addressed immediately. We also loved the little touches like the beach bag and hats in the room. The hotel sits directly on the beach with free use of kayaks and paddle boards when available which is great. There is lots of seating including sunbeds abs loungers around the pool including shadier areas. We are already thinking about extending our stay in Thailand just to book another couple of nights here. Amazing clean hotel with fantastic staff.…

We stayed here for 2 weeks in April and what can we say, the hotel was amazing! From the moment we were picked up from the airport, the staff at the hotel couldn’t do any more to make sure your stay was as pleasant as possible. The staff really are the crown jewel at this resort. A few shout out outs must go to Baw - most friendly person we have ever come across on holiday. Made sure you had everything you needed, whatever the time or weather. Also the ladies in the level - Naraa, Namwhan and Rita. You were super friendly, chatty and welcoming every day/night we came in. Finally housekeeping - Air, she was brilliant and looked after us the entire stay too! The staff on the reception, concierge and breakfast were all great too, sorry we didn’t get any of their names. The hotel is well situated on the island, away from the hustle and bustle, but close enough by taxi should you wish to venture out. Shout out to Noom(taxi man outside hotel) who became our private taxi guy for the 2 weeks. We messaged him on WhatsApp whenever we wanted to go anywhere and he was happy to take us. He even took us on a morning tour of the local temples and waited at each stop. Room - we opted for a pool access room and it was a great choice. Access to the meandering loop pool whenever we wanted to. Our little girl loved the pool, especially the water slides. Kids club - we visited this a couple of times(when it rained) and the ladies who worked in here were super friendly and approachable. Immediately put our little girl at ease. Overall we struggled to fault this hotel in anyway. It was just brilliant. Our only issues came down to the stormy weather than lasted for our last 5 days, meaning it constantly rained. But that’s Mother Nature for you. Only caveat I would say is Choeng Mon is a quieter side of the island and there is only a few restaurants and 3/4 bars close by. Therefore be prepared for it to be of a more peaceful ambience, if you venture out. Fisherman’s village and Bangrak are close by and offer heaps of bars if you wish to taxi it there. Our time at Melia was amazing!! My girlfriend Bridget and I came for two long weeks and stayed in an excellent, huge family suite. The hotel is fab, basically brand new, and properly luxury. The beach was stunning and the water crystal clear, and the pool that meandered around the resort was really nice and quiet. The food was excellent, although very pricey for Thailand standards (dinner for two could easily get to £100GBP with just one or two drinks, with a glass of wine upwards of £7). Tip- there’s a great little restaurant 2 min walk away as you turn left out the hotel where we ate a few times for 1/4 of the price of the hotel. But the best part was the staff. So many of them clearly loved what they do and were so kind, which we always find makes a massive difference to the vibe of a holiday. Two huge shout outs, one for Eye at the restaurant who was amazing, so kind and always up for a chat. She reserved us a table a couple of times and remembered our orders, our names, and genuinely wanted to chat and always made sure she served us. We loved her! And the other for Bow round the pool - what a guy! First name terms the whole holiday, and couldn’t do enough for us - incredible, and clearly loves what he does!! On top of that, K who picked us up from the airport, Yolande the restaurant manager, and Ken & BB at reception were all amazing. Oh AND, we forget his name, but one of the waiters at breakfast, and sometimes lunch/dinner, knew my girlfriend loved coconuts. So on our last morning he went out of his way to go shopping and buy two baked coconuts, and presented them to us at breakfast with a lovely note saying thank you from all the F&B team. Amazing! If there were any small improvements to be made, it’d be opening the power lounge above reception for drinks in the evening. We found a lack of places to go for an after dinner drink other than just staying in the restaurant and that would’ve really been valued. And it was a shame the pool bar wasn’t open whilst we were there, we would have loved to have had that at our disposal and had a drink there on a sunny day. But make no mistake, we’re already planning our next stay here for January 2023! Thanks so much Melia team!…

We had a really wonderful stay at Melia Samui. As we are regular visitors to Samui, this is certainly one of our favourite hotels to stay on the island. We love the style of the hotel, the location and all the staff are always friendly and welcoming. Special mention to Bella and her team for making our stay very comfortable here. We had a few minor issues with the room after the heavy rain but it was dealt with quickly and professionally. We will definitely be back and would recommend this place to our friends and family.

What a beautiful relaxing stay, our pool access room was divine. We stayed in block 6 which was ideal. As we had no children it was nice and quiet. It seems they kept the families and couple separate. Which is clever. Miss Meaw was very helpful in her checkout service as was the doorman on the way in and out. The breakfast was lovely, our dinner was ok but not as good as the morning breakfast. Just outside the resort, facing the beach to the right is a lovely massage place called Young massage where you will receive a perfect massage from 3 lovely ladies. They wear a light blue uniform. Just outside the resort to the left just around the corner was a fantastic laundry service as well. We truly enjoyed our stay here and will return again. Thank you so much.

Amazing hotel!! It was perfect to spending part oh my honeymoon here!! Everything was perfect, from the breakfast, service, pool, room, and mainly the kindness of the workers!!
