This was our second visit to Cocos. We combined it with staying at 2 other hotels during our stay (both much more expensive) and hands down Cocos was the best. The views are absolutely sublime - with azure coloured sea that you just don't get anywhere else. There are 2 beaches both with great beach bars - right there and both quiet. Our favourite is very private - no vendors or noisy locals - (on the other side of the hotel from Jolly Harbour). Service is excellent (apart from one or two staff who were a bit grumpy but polite none the less). But most couldn't be helpful and friendly enough. The hotel has a boutique exclusive feel. Meals were very good - the view is so amazing its hard to concentrate on the food! Its not gormet but its very very good. And they were very helpful accommodating my food fads. And the room is super comfortable. Great pillows! Very important. The only caveat I would have about this hotel is if you are very unfit - it is hilly. I didn't mind because getting to and fro from the room was a good bit of exercise! And if you are lucky you can hitch a lift up the hill with a buggy guy in a golf cart! Seriously - don't spend double going somewhere else. We are very discerning and we absolutely love Cocos!

Hotel's Favourite
We extended our stay in Antigua due to the lockdown in London and without a doubt picking Cocos boutique hotel as our next destination was the best choice! From the moment we checked in we had the most amazing service from Namene Rodgers, she was so welcoming and lovely and upgraded us to a stunning sunset room which was literally like heaven in earth, breath taking views, unbelievably clean and just so quaint. We was shown straight to lunch where once again the wait staff were so helpful with their recommendations and the food was outstanding. We had just left another all inclusive hotel which wasn’t nearly as good as Cocos and with all inclusive you come to expect less than average food but I can assure you cocos does not fail in the food department at all...absolutely divine. We have travelled the whole of the Caribbean and yet to find better jerk chicken than what we received from Howayne on the beach, authentic Caribbean taste and such a warm lovely guy. My partner bumped into the owner outside our room and even himself was so accommodating and asking if there was anything he could improve...just impeccable service all round. Cocos is an absolute find ...we have one day left and we just don’t want to leave this hotel. Unbelievably clean, amazing service and the most stunning scenery your ever see ...perfection.

Response from Kris Krisendat, Marketing at COCOS Hotel Antigua (All Inclusive)

Dear Nikki, We're proud to have made what seemed like an unfortunate situation into one you'll never forget. Not only were you away on vacation but you had to extend your stay away from home due to the unforeseen lockdown which is as a result of the current pandemic. Everything happens for a reason and COCOS was chosen as your extension destination so you can see the different kind of experience that we offer. We've crossed all of our T's to ensure your eyes are dotted with stars as you relax on the balcony of our Sunset Cottage staring onto the horizon. And we didn't stop there, our kitchen is dedicated to preparing some of the best tasting Caribbean Cuisine you've ever sampled anywhere, as you can attest. Though retired, Mr. Michelin, often walks the property and even dines at the restaurant just to ensure that there's nothing lost on the standards he set. And he knows more than anyone that with time, things change, so he's always listening for tips and advices from guests on how we can better accommodate them. It was indeed a brilliant pleasure to have hosted you and we hope that you will revisit us, take care. Regards,

we booked this place on accident thinking it was cocos bay resort but im so glad we did! i spent my birthday here and they were kind enough to upgrade my room after a mix up i made with booking two different rooms for my stay. i loved our sunset view room overlooking the ocean and they even gave me a cute birthday dinner on my special night. we had planned to leave the hotel and do activities but it was so peaceful and beautiful that we just sat on the beach all day. the staff were so kind and pleasant to talk to and the grounds are just stunning. i really hope they treat the staff well because they make the place what it is. make sure you tip well and leave money in your room for housekeeping. i will absolutely be back!

I came to COCO's with my partner to celebrate my 30th birthday. and WOW what an incredible trip. The property was beautiful, set up on the hill side with amazing views. We were in cottage 3 which was a premium view cottage. It was very nice. The staff were all so incredible but a few people stood out- Kerry-Ann, Anizia, Anisha, Loreen and Kris. Everyone made the experience THAT much better. The whole staff at dinner sang me happy birthday and really made me feel special. I have stayed at all inclusive resorts before but this one was really unique. The views were the best I've ever seen. The food was great, although I wish there was a tad bit more variety, or some chips/cookies in the room. We spent most of our time on Valley Church beach. The other beach was more quiet because the resort next door is closed (which actually was amazing in my opinion because the beaches would have been so crowded) My only real compliant was the beach vendors are SUPER pushy and annoying. They stare you down every day trying to sell you things, even when you politely say no. Also- the mosquitos and sand flies will eat you alive. Wear bug spray 24/7.
