A few days in Brazao before we move in to our own house. Brazao takes Covid-19 very serious. Desinfecting the shoes and hands, no bar or restaurant service. Breakfast (continental, limited choice) served in room. Cleaning kadies are packed like they work in intensive care unit. Room is very clean and the same for the bathroom. Phone and remote for a/c and tv packed in plastic. Bed a bit short and hard but had a good sleep. Shower ok. Some issues draining the water. Breakfast served in room not my cup of tea. Do not understand why they don't serve in breakfast room. Restaurants and coffeshops in the village are all open.

Four of us stayed here on our first night of our 14 day Camino walk. The Hotel was very well located and the facilities were adequate and comfortable. Breakfast was fabulous with lots to choose from. The check in was fast and efficient and the receptionist was very helpful with local information

A good hotel that has lots of upgrades. The room was good. Had two single beds in it. There is a bathtub in the washroom which is great to soak in. The hotel is central located in the town. Close to the river. Great staff. And free breakfast with bacon.

This was a modern hotel, very stylish and clean, in an excellent position for doing the camino. We were easily able to securely store the bike of one of our fellow travellers. Staff were welcoming and pleasant. Unfortunately our room was tiny. I could hardly get around my suitcase on the floor. There was a window but it was high on the wall so you couldn't see out of it. All night a dog loudly barked nearby so we had to close the window which made the room even more claustophobic. Hence my score of 3/5. We had to wait for breakfast which wasn't being served until 7.30am, which meant we were a little behind in getting back on the track. It seemed pretty basic, some cereals, pikelets, a few cakes, some nice bread, scrambled eggs and bacon as well as lots of fruit - after many days on the camino, we realized it was probably a bit better than average! Overall, this is a nice place but ask to see your room if possible before accepting it. Our friends had a much better and bigger one than us, so it's the luck of the draw.

After reading reviews and looking at photos I expected a rather dark, old fashioned hotel. Instead Hotel Brazao turned out to be a bright, modern, building in the center of town. There are a lot of shops and a mini-mercado nearby. My room was comfortable with a nice big modern white bathroom (quartzite and marble). Everything was spotless. The staff were welcoming and helpful. Ville do Conde is a charming town - very interesting abandoned Santa Clara Monastery with massive aquaduct and great views, beautiful church, some lovely parks, and a beautiful river. The hotel was about 15 minutes walk from the beach. As a Camino walker I was very grateful for the early breakfast and the fact that both hot and cold food was on offer. It was one of the best breakfasts we had on the Camino. This hotel is an incredible deal given the quality of the accommodation/food and its location in such a lovely place. I highly recommend. It was the best value for money on the Camino.
