Stayed one night. Nice compact room (though we never did figure out the air con). Clean. Very pleasant reception and breakfast staff. Good wifi in the bed room. Central location. Good value for money. Plenty to see in the area. Would stay again.

Our room was too small for comfort - I estimate about 6 sq metres of open floor space excluding bathroom and entry way. Would be quite OK for a single person. Shower with care, otherwise bathroom floor gets flooded. On the positive side, the location is great - a pleasant area close to the train and bus stations. The room...

This is a great little hotel. The man in the front desk was extremely nice and helpful. He explained us many things about the town and made good recommendations of places to go to given our time. The rooms are very clean and comfortable, the breakfast is nice and the service from the people in the dining area was great,...

Staff is incredible helpful and knows every little thing you should go and visit in Viana do Costello. We had a very modern and clean room in the first floor, with a great terrace :) ! The breakfast was simple but generous with fresh cakes every morning. Definitely the place to stay!

We checked in with a group of 15, the start of our Camino walk. The staff was ready for our weary group! Very friendly and helpful in answering many questions from the group. A great location, just a few minutes walk from the train station and the center of town. The rooms very clean and comfortable..... I highly recommend this...

We have been coming back to this family run hotel for several years and could not be happier! Eduardo, Joaõ and their dad make this a budget hotel experience that others should model themselves after. We had planned to head north to Spain but when our plans were crushed by a rail strike we headed straight to Viana do Castelo...

Excellent service and very clean rooms at this little hotel in the center of VdC. The rooms are on the small size but very clean, well designed, and practical. Nice breakfast as well. Don't be put off by the 2 stars rating.

GOOD: Best Hotel reception on our trip to Portugal. They greet you as the car pulls in, help with luggage and then take you through all the town has to offer. Spot on with restaurant recommendations even for a town 30kms away and always friendly, getting to their feet as you approach. Even the breakfast lady worked hard and was...

We stayed here as a stop on the Portuguese Camino. After walking all day in the rain this was a great place to arrive at, excellent front desk help and we were whisked our room pronto. Compact room but great bed, minimalist design, perfectly functional and Mickey to have a bath tub go soak away the days aches and pains....
