Good staff at reception. Decent location. Service was ok. Breakfast was average. There is a nice square close to hotel where good cafes could be found. A little bit of walking is required to go to metro

They hardly come to clean your room. The receptionist were unfriendly and rude. They allow you use their old not functioning iron for 5 minutes. No privacy as they come to take things from your room when you arenot there but cannot come in to clean. The breakfast was great

Hotel is quite nice, it's not bad, it's not great. Me and my two friends, we stayed at the hotel just for one night while visiting Porto during our Portugal trip. The hotel is not in the city center, it takes almost half an hour by walk to get to the center of Porto. But during the walk you can...

Has a humble feel and outdated...stayed for 2 nites , had a request for a twin bedded room but had to settle for a double. The rooms need a complete change in upholstery, curtains sofa chair floor all are stained and dusty...general hotels in Europe are spic and span...the bathroom a fiasco, the commode is nearly touching the wash basin,...

This hotel was something of a disappontment in the light of other reviews, but it is only a 2-3 star hotel. On the plus side the hotel is well placed for seeing Porto - it is 25 minutes walk from the historic centre and 10-15 minutes from the lovely Palacio do Cristal gardens, and there is good public transport close...

First impressions were of a very quaint if somewhat old fashioned hotel. However, our room was very clean, excellent A/C, good wifi and quiet ( street noise can be offset by the A/C. We asked for top floor with a sunny balcony and got this (view not great but it was a sunny balcony). Staff were great- multi lingual and...

This was a great location to explore Porto. It was right by the Casa da Musica, meaning minutes from the metro! Its near cash points and some lovely places to eat - a particularly swanky veggie place called Carne em Viva. The hotel was clean and had everything you needed from a hot shower, to comfy beds, desk and storage...

We booked this hotel for our week long stay in Porto, all we needed was somewhere for a good night's rest each night. Although on the small side the room was adequate, lots of hot water, a fabulous shower, towels and sheets changed daily. We had breakfast the first day which was fine but made our own choice to experience...

Located in the city centre - not the old quarter - and near the Casa da Musica metro station. A 25m walk to the former and to the river. Room fine but not available until 2pm. Whole new concept in TV - the cable didn't reach the plug socket . . . (Room 204). And, without instructions in any language,...
