A friend and I booked this a week before arriving. Unfortunately our Ryanair flight got shifted later and we arrived around 1am, which was no problem (I let them know in advance to expect us). The room was nice and freshly renovated, with a lovely little balcony to look onto the street. Exceptional location within easy walk to the train...

Grande Odeano Guest House is a good value Guest House with no frills. It is in a very convenient location within easy walking distnce from the metro and main sights. There are a number of cafes and the brilliant Presto Pizza close by. The rooms with shared bathroom are very reasonably priced, clean and of good standard. The shared bathroom...

I study in Porto and I booked a room for my grandparents who came to visit the city in this hotel. We chose the double superior room, the number 3, which was at a cheap price for the 4 nights, and actually great: spacious, with much light, a little balcony, a king size bed, modern tv also with non Portuguese...

We stayed here for 2 nights. When you approach the hotel, and enter its lobby, you will be worried the place is a dump. Do not be scared. The rooms are delightful, and the staff is very kind. Pluses: 1) VERY recently remodeled rooms with nice fixtures & bedding. 2) Airy and spacious 3) Excellent location off the main pedestrian...

Good place for a night or two, very cheap, I had a big room with a huge bed (N°3) the air conditioning was working and the room was warm, (I had been scared by comments on this site saying there was no heating system) and they are installing central heating. Yes there are stairs to climb to reach your room,...

We have stayed at this hotel during January and we got 400€ stolen from our room from a wallet inside pants. Staff didn't do anything even to check who entered the room only they claimed they didn't do that and no one entered room. We have such a bad experience with this stay. DON'T STAY HERE.

We are sorry about your bad experience. After your callings we contacted the company who manages our security lockers system. They issued a report (for which we paid 200 Euros) that proves that after your check-in your room was only opened in the check out day after you left. And, because you asked for us not to clean the room...

The first impression wasn't that good because they were remodeling so it was noisy and the lobby was dirty. Staff is nice but they don't speak English (they try their best though), they let me do early check in. Wifi was good in al the hotel. It smells humid but otherwise is clean. I think is a good value for...

Very nice and cheap place to stay. The location is very central and it was easy to find. The staff was really nice although some of them didn`t speak any English. The room was clean an cosy. Shower took forever to drain. Smells like there has been water damage. Seems very clean otherwise. Wifi was great. Quiet. Beds comfortable. Helpful front desk. No elevator but that wasn't an issue. Really close to the train station. Easy to find.

Stayed here last week for a few days. Big plus is that it's very central, and rooms cleaned everyday. No breakfast, but lots of cafes nearby. If stairs are a problem for you, avoid, as no lifts and steep stairs to the rooms. In reception is a terrible musty smell. The rooms were fine so I didn't really mind. Free...
