Renovated boutique hotel in Porto's historic center. Beautiful, large rooms, with lots of great amenities. Friendly staff and an extremely varied breakfast spread. Make sure you get a room on the square—it wasn't noisy at all (but maybe it's because we went in October). A great place!
A beautiful hotel. Great location. Watching the world go by from the balcony was a delight. The room was really nice and we had a bath in our room which was pretty special. Free mini bar and a real treat was left on my birthday from the friendly staff.
Only stayed 1 night but have to say I was really impressed by the quality of all the services The hotel has the best location The room is very comfortable, quiet and cosy , the breakfast is diverse and really good and the staff is the best Have stayed in many properties in Porto but it will be now my new Home whenever I come back to this amazing city !
If you re looking for a hotel centrally located in the heart of Porto, this is a great choice. The room rates are reasonable and the service was very good with friendly receptionists. There is a stationery-type store next to the reception with all kinds of interesting writing items. The breakfast buffet was good as well as the eggs cooked to order, and the coffee was the best we had on our entire trip to Porto. You can sit outside, however it was too cool on the August mornings we were there. We had a light lunch there once, and the food was very tasty, too. The rooms are a bit quirky with their old-fashioned style but certainly large enough to spread out your suitcase on the floor. We had rooms facing the courtyard, meaning no view, but also meaning they were quiet. If you keep your window open you can smell the odors from the kitchen, and the seagulls might wake you in the morning. The bed was comfortable; the pillows were filled with foam, not feathers. There are bathrobes and slippers along with a coffee/tea machine, and the minibar had complimentary water and milk, along with a daily fresh bottle of water, although no other types of beverages. You can occasionally hear the guests in the other rooms, but this wasn’t a problem. Despite its great location and friendly staff, we just weren’t blown away by the hotel. If you just plan to sleep here, it’s fine, but maybe not somewhere to spend any amount of time in.…
Booking .com arranged a free taxi to the hotel, so thank you! Hotel is wonderfully positioned as other have commented, at end of a long pedestrian street leading to the centre of town and 5 mins to the rail station,. Bed is very comfortable memory foam mattress, room is large with a pink roll top bath. FREE minibar too what is better than putting your feet up with a beer after sight seeing. We have not used the restaurant but it looks good and reasonable priced. There is a small cafe immediately outside the door too and 3 good restaurants across the road Highly recommended
