Rooms were clean but basic. Older style typical portuguese furnishings but staff were friendly. You ahve to clim one flight to get to reception os be prepared to carry your luggage up that long flight but once at reception there is a lift to take you to your room, There is free wifi but we found it not working too...

It was really good as a hostel. Awesome view through the window, good location, near the city center. Also clean, there is a room cleaner that changed towels and so on... Recomend it for sure, compared prive and quality distributed.

I'll keep this brief.... Pluses: Pretty cheap for an Ensure room, quite close to sao bento and the main areas, quiet street, clean enough. Negatives: WiFi did not work on my floor (I believe this was an ongoing issue as the night worker told me "sometimes if you connect down here then go up it will carry on.") I requested...

The place was ok for the price we pay. It was not luxury or super comfortable but it was descent. Close to the city center. Nice view from the balcony and more or less nice service. The elevator was probably 2 hundred years old but it works. Only thing missing is a staff talking in english.

We stayed there for just one night but it was sufficient to experience one of the wrost nights ever. The room was ok, a small window, a shower, the location was good but... the room was riddled with bed bugs, some small some big, but big enough to suck our blood. We've raised the issue with the receptionist to which...

Our bathroom was not clean, there where hairs everywhere. The room was so small that we could barely move around the bed and had no window! It says it has free wi-fi, but we where the first room right after the router and we had no signal in the room, we had to go to the stairs in order to...

Reasonable distance from Bolhão metro station (10 minutes walk). Supermarket is not too far away. Walking distance to many places, very walkable city! There's an elevator! Most staff, except for the younger man who was there when I checked in, does not speak English. So hopefully you know more Portugese than I do. However, if you speak Spanish then that...

Very inexpensive, small and unpretentious yet very clean rooms, good location, friendly receptionists. Basic Portuguese vocabulary knowlwdge will help as they don't speak English. It was a bit cold inside our room on the 4th floor.

It's located a block from the long distance bus terminal and close to most attractions in the City, so it is a perfect place for an overnight or a short stay. However, everything else is just basic .... or even below basic. During our stay, the temperature dropped below 10C or 50F, but the place does not have heating (I...

It is located in the center of the city, very close to all top attractions. Hosts do not speak English, which is not so good, except one receptionist, but they are all very nice. It is really cheap, so you can not expect a miracle :), for that money it is a paradise. They clean the room every day which...
