Detailed Reviews
A great hotel to stay in for a bit of peach and quiet just outside the centre of Porto. Walkable over 10-15 min to the new city centre, but the old city would require some public transport. Rooms are basic and functional and have all the things you need for a comfortable stay. Helpful staff.

We loved Porto and enjoyed our stay at the Boavista Hotel. We needed car parking and access to a Tesla charger, which this hotel provided at a reasonable price. The staff at reception was very helpful, spoke good English and gave us a map and good tips for exploring Porto. The rooms and bathrooms were large and modern, well designed and clean. The bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was excellent and a reasonable price. The hotel is not centrally located for Porto, but a metro station is about 15 mins walk, and bus stop about 5 mins walk. Then it takes about 10 mins to get the centre. To return we took a Bolt taxi which was very cheap.
Access to the underground car park was very tight.
Everything else was excellent and we would recommend this hotel.

Perfect,
One night in a Deluxe Suite, the room was wonderful, spacious, lovely, whatever you want !
Big terrace with a nice jacuzzi, oof, noice.
We asked for a little romantic prep, they listened to our requests, and the result was way beyond our expectations. (That chocolate fondant, omg-good)
Breakfast was varied, very good, and always quickly refilled.
Finally, the service people were on point the whole time, from our email discussions 2 months before to even after we left the room.
Thank you so much, wonderful time, 110% recommended

Booked for 3 nights over Easter break with my young kids. I have asthma and suffer from several chronic illnesses, so wanted a hotel with high standards of cleanliness to help protect me from any flares and relapses. The hotel itself seems nice and has some positives, like a good buffet breakfast and spacious rooms. The big negative is the level of cleanliness. The toilet as you can see from the photos was not cleaned. This was very obvious when relaxing at the bath, so a very big eyesore. Also for someone like myself a big hazard. Needless to say it makes you think what else is not cleaned properly. I reported this to the staff at the reception 3 times. It has yet to be actioned effectively. They have brought staff up to clean it but it still remains as seen at the photos. Which means that eitherthe staff are not up to the task or that this needs tackling as it must have been there so long it is now encrusted. We would have moved if we could source a room elsewhere, but whole city was booked solid over Easter. We were offered a free dinner on the hotel up to the value of 60 euros, which although appreciated does not make up for a dirty poo encrusted toilet. Really disappointed as this is the first holiday i have had since being housebound for years. And of course completely unacceptable during Covid times.

If you decide on this hotel beware the baths are extremely slippery. I found once wet the surface was oily and it was hard to stand safely. I was extremely careful when trying to climb out but my foot slipped and I fell hitting my arm on the side of the bath as I fell. The response from the hotel when I complained was apathetic and they did not wish to even check on the bath to see the problem but did then send a bath mat. I went to a pharmacy to get some medication to treat the severe bruising and returned to ask for the hotel to pay for this. They refused giving the impression the they thought it was my fault and asking for compensation was unreasonable but then gave me an insulting bottle of water and a cake. A half hearted apology came just as I was leaving with no chance for me to pursue the matter further. I do not think they will address this issue. I was with a coach party and several members of the group agreed their bath was exceptionally slippery and although they didn't fall felt they were unsafe. My entire lower arm is still swollen bruised and painful 6 days later.

My choice every time I go to Porto. The location is very central for anyone who wants to be in the Boavista area, but loyal in a quiet street where there are no noises of cars or people.
Very nice room and a breakfast with a lot of variety but with a very homemade style.

The Hotel is very confortable and ideal for business purpose, apart from a few minor things.
The staff exceeds expectations. Good food, from breakfast to meals. The electrical chargers in the parking area are very handy also.

Very nice hotel though we were only there for a short overnight stay. Our room was comfortable with well thought out design for maximum comfort. My only complaint would be that our room faced the street and we could hear cars through the night.

Hotel is very nice. But the hot tub made it for me. Absolutely lovely. Staff were friendly. It's a little out of town, but i think the price reflects that fairly. We relied on taxis which were quite cheap compared to the UK.
Overall would recommend.

The location is a bit outside the city center with a lot of traffic on the street outside. There is also a school and football facility opposite, which makes a lot of noise.
The rooms were nice and clean, but STONE HARD beds. A night in these makes the body ache.
Nice staff and good service, but the beds significantly lower the rating

Hi,
Yes to both - easy access elevator and central location for tourists.
Yes - it is a small patio with hot tub, some chairs and patio umbrella right outside the room. We did use it and enjoyed the experience. Hope this info helps you. :-)
I did not use the laundry either. You can request and iron from reception. You will love the hotel.
No, not in standard rooms, only in suites. But you can get coffe or tea at the bar until late and breakfast service begins at 06:30
To be honest I don’t think so, nevertheless send an email to the hotel or call them, and they will clarify everything for you. They have a good guest relation service
