This hotel is centrally located but basic, reflected in the price. I went as part of a group and check in was efficient considering the number of us. Limited lift access and you need to take one flight of stairs from the street, in case this is an issue. I slept ok but others complained of the noise outside and...

This hotel is perfectly located. It's close to the hop on hop off buses, great shopping, eating AND the classic sights. While it's not posh, it is extremely clean. Great internet. The desk staff is excellent, particularly Liliana.

Porto, our last destination on our trip in this wonderful country was as we expected. A city port, with lively and cozy streets with a mix of sounds, tastes and people from all over the world. Well,is a port-city as his name is, pure and simple and as the wine who bear his name on it. we have had a...

Hotel Universal is a very basic hotel, clean, central, friendly and convenient. Downside is the flight of stairs to the reception when you arrive especially with luggage. They should include the breakfast with the price since it was very basic anyway, bread, spreads, fruit and diluted coffee, expensive for €5. This is to avoid the confusion when hotel guests enter...

Best described by the comment "...any port in a storm!. Bad weather seemed to have caused a run on rooms at the other budget hotels in the £80 per night level. All other hotels So for around £40 a night it was fine to get away from a heavy rain storm and into a dry room. But no hot water...

La ubicación no puede ser mejor, a pocos metros de muchisimos puntos de interes. Es un hotel solo para dormir, no busques lujos, no busques grandes comodidades. Pero por el precio que tiene y la localización es perfecto para escapadas cortas. The location can not be better, just a few meters from a lot of turistics points. If you are...

Very central position on the main boulervard. Many bars and restaurants close by. An excellent deceptively large cafe around the corner with superb service and a big menu. Also a Mc D 2 mins away.10 -15 walk to the port area and the tour buses stop virtually outside the hotel. Reception is well run and always open with friendly staff....

I just liked the location as it's the best place to start your tours. The hotel from outside looked fine but just entering it's another thing completely. First of all, there are many stairs to reach the reception and of course you have to carry your luggage up the stairs. Starting from the first moment of getting there, after agreeing...

Really not nice accommodation. It was fairly cheap and in a good location. But the beds were absolutely awful, the room was very very small and the bathroom was just....disgusting. The staff were helpful, if not a little pushy with us that we didn't book directly through them.
