Lovely building with grand old style, cheap, clean, friendly staff, within walking distance of city centre, mind you the walk is steep, as the hotel is located on a hill, but there is a metro stop nearby, for those not comfortable with the idea walking a bit. Even though the place doesn't serve breakfast, once in the centre, there are...

Really nice, friendly and supportive stuff (speaking good English, at least the young man that we saw at the reception for two evenings); comfortable bed and soft & warm sleeping bed-covers (duvets); the inner courtyard with the garden is attractive for relaxation (and for children to play - even if we didn't have kids with us); pretty easy to reach...

Nice guest house with a beautiful garden! The room was small but comfortable and cozy. Location is a bit far away from the city center and from the metro station. Be aware that the staff speaks no English!

Semi central location (12 minutes to the metro), nice place and area, some rooms are more comfy and silent then the other ones. Beautiful, large and quiet garden. Nice breakfast for 5 euros and if you like cats you'll be satisfied: there are four of them, all beautiful and easy.

Well you can stay in a large modern hotel in Porto or you can really enjoy a local well run guesthouse like Pedra Iberica. I know what I prefer. Very pleasant and helpful staff run the service - happy to chat about the city and how it has changed in recent years. Rooms are fine and very reasonably priced. Breakfast...

We had downstairs room which was a bit smelly at first . Kind of rot but the smell was gone once we were there. The building from the outside looks like all the other buildings but inside is so much nicer. Lovely garden with equipment for the children to play. Its a bit far from the city center, OK to...

We stayed here for 2 nights in March. If you choose to stay here, know that the guesthouse is a long walk from the center, even longer from the waterfront, and up a huge hill. Do not accept Room 11 under any circumstances. It is on the ground floor, between the front door and reception, and is very noisy; plus...

It is very nice hotel. I was there in November and personal was very nice. Room was also very nice and clean. Neighborhood of hotel is beutiful, mainly terrace and garden. From "lighthouse" is spectacular views to all city. I spent very nice time and I hope that I will return soon to Porto.

This is a very comfortable and clean place to stay. It was also an inexpensive stay. It is a very old building and still has portions of the old stone walls on display. It has been renovated and it has a pleasant homely feel about it. It was October and raining when we were there but it would be beautiful...
