Staff was very handy and willing to serve any demand, room was clean/quiet, and the breakfast excellent. This is a conveniently located hotel, 10 min from a central train station and nearby thorough borough/restaurants. Very good rate for quality of service.

We had a great time at Moov, clean, great location, the staff needs some social skills but all in all, great stay. The rooma are maybe just a little bit small, but very clean and they have all you need. Tip: breakfast in small restorants across the street is a must ;)

Lovely staff and a Great price. The room was comfortable. The reception area is nice. Location is very good and easy to find. I'd recommend this hotel for a night or two or for a cheap holiday. Breakfast nice and basic.

Wow we still can't believe the price we paid for the room was not higher. No frills, if you don't consider being right downtown a frill. 10 minute walk to the Riviera, 3 minutes to the train station, main shopping district is right around the corner. The wifi was essentially nonexistent in our room so that was a bit frustrating,...

The hotel is well located, well staffed and clean. Amenities are limited but I found the staff most helpful with questions and directions. Efficiency is the keyword. Late at night the television in our room was dwarfed by the wall hanging next to it; I could have wished their relative sizes to be reversed....

We stayed here two nights at the beginning of June. This hotel has no frills, good standard, quality/price relation excellent. It is located in the center of Porto, near the train station (Sao Bento) and in walkable distance of the cathedral. Staff is friendly, efficient. Breakfast (self service buffet) is ample yet not cheap compared to outside alternatives.

Good location, clean facility, but don't expect anything fancy. The staff is helpful. Rooms were very basic, but served its purpose as a place to sleep, and was fairly quiet. Small little section of a window allowed for some fresh air and natural light, other wise it would have felt very confined and institutional. The ceilings were very tall in...

I am a fan of this hotel! The staff is very friendly and helpful and well prepare: they speak several languages. The hotel is well located: close to all the main attractions. Definitely it is not a luxurious hotel, but it has all you need: clean rooms, a comfortable big bed, parking (although it is very narrow; it took me...

The hotel is very simple and modern. However, you can only connect 1 device at a time to your room's wifi at the hotel. For example, only 1 phone can be using the wifi, not 2 phones at the same. Good for short-term stays. Staff is very friendly

This hotel is in a great location close to transport, restaurants. It is a little hard to find as it's in a pedestrian mall which confused our GPS. The rooms are clean but very basic, the bathroom is tiny but serviceable, the bed was very hard and uncomfortable with the thinnest pillows ever..... we had to ask for extra pillows...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
The mythical Cinema Aguia D'Ouro opens doors to a new hotel experience in downtown Oporto. In the emblematic building built in 1839, you will now find a renewed, sophisticated and welcoming space where the spirit of cinema is still alive. With the recovery of the Art Deco facade Moov Hotel Porto Centro (downtown OPorto) restores the soul and spirit of cinema to the inspiring Invicta City with the presence of several visual references. In the heart of the city, the hotel is very well located, near several underground stations which are connected to the Francisco Sa Carneiro airport and by the main accesses to downtown. ... more   less
