We have just spent the last 3 nights here. The decor in the hotel is very dated but it was spotless and our room was cleaned everyday. Our room faced on the back so heard no noises from the street like some people have complained about. The only thing missing from the room was a kettle to make a cup...

When researching places to stay this one was intriguing because it had good reviews and an interesting story (oldest hotel in Porto). It is also in a nice central location that makes access to everything Porto has to offer easy. On the surface, it looked like a great choice. It wasn't. The general interior feel of the hotel is decent....

This is a charming hotel with bags of character. The welcome was very friendly and the hotel is perfectly situated to explore the city by foot as long as you don't mind the hills. The room was comfortable and perfectly adequate for our three day stay. The bed was comfortable and the air-conditioning very powerful. The only slight criticism was...

Old fashioned hotel with elevator was charming and traditional. We saw some comments about it being run-down but enjoyed it just the way it was. Generous selection for breakfast in the elegant dining room; make your own espresso in the impressive hot beverage machine. Garden was adjacent to dining room. Front desk staff gave excellent service. Adequate sized room. Clean...

It is spotlessly clean, staff were very friendly and knowledgeable. There are lots of antiquities dotted around showing the Hotel at its finest...

We stayed in Grande Hotel de Paris for 6 nights with our 9 year old daughter. Our room (210) had 3 comfortable beds and was acceptable for a short stay. There was an extremely unpleasant smell from the drainage in the bathroom. our request for a room with a garden view was not answered and our room overlooked the back...

Well established hotel with a unique flair, feels like being in ancient times. Surely the rooms are not high end, however the hotel and the rooms have charm which we appreciated. Do not go there if you expect fancy rooms and lively bar scene, then this place is not for you. You must love classy style - which we do...
