Warning: this place is not for everybody. It is a long walk up the hill from downtown and it's not in the center of things. That said we found this place incredible. It is not been touched since it was built everything inside is original including the ancient phone booth in the lobby where are the desk man sends your... More

I stayed in Hotel Miradouro one night only but had a very exciting experience. First of all, I liked the interior - it reminded me of my grandfathers home in my childhood. The room was clean and tidy, staff was nice. In the morning I went for a breakfast and had a really pleasant moment. I went out of elevator... More

Great! Incredible view of Porto from the top floors! Huge panoramic windows. Very cozy and original 60´s decoration and furniture. Big rooms and good breakfast in the top floor restaurant. Not for ultra high-tech dependent of cutting-edge hotels. Close to city center. You can walk 10 to 15 minutes to the center.

I have to admit that Hotel Miradouro was a bit disappointing for us. We spent one night there and it was our first visit to Portugal. During 6 days we had booked 4 different hotels and I need to say that this one wasn't the best. We've chosen this one because of free parking, which is a big advantage for... More

This hotel is away from the main town of Porto. but unlike many hotels in Porto it did have parking at the hotel suitable for motorbikes. Its at the front of the hotel raised from view of the main road but in front of reception. The hotel is a high rise building with somewhat dated rooms, but that said it... More

We knew it was dated. 60s style. That was interesting. Rooms very clean towels changed daily. Rooms a little worn , especially the curtains! Staff were ok. Some more smiley than others. No real bar available, we had to ask for service. Fantastic views from Breakfast restaurant and bar but bar not used. Apparently no bar man available! Fairly good... More

Easily the strangest nights ever, two, August 2013. The hottest outdoor disco in the country is directly across the street, I'm talking it really gets going at 3:00AM... I adore Portugal, between the genuine and lovely people, the breathtaking landscapes, and the delicious and plentiful food it cannot be beat anywhere else in Europa. A real time-capsule of a swank... There are very welcoming and nice attitude. If we compare prices, then of course - price there is small, but what you can get about it? Old fashioned and clean room with marvelous view to Porto. Pretty nice breakfast on restaurant where are superior view for 270 degrees of Porto. If you are traveler who would like to be always... More

Its seems that the hotel's original designer's goal were to make interior for life. You can tell that nothing was changed after the hotel was opened (well maybe except shower heads). The hotel once was a fancy place, now just the old one. Besides interior, hotel is clean, the view is nice, breakfast is average (no hot meals, no vegetables).... More
